Excellent product, anyone should try it!
Excellent water bottle for cycling. My husband was against getting a hard wall bottle vs squeezable one but I went with my gut and I’m super happy about it. Bottle is very well insulated and beats any insulated bottles ( plastic ones) that we have by a landslide. Water stays icy with actual ice in it for few hours. Easy to use, water flow is great. I found that not installing the small straw ( I’m assuming for improving the water flow) actually helps even more. Fits really well in bottle holder - almost like locking in it and of course one of the biggest advantages is not drinking from plastic bottles - especially when you add any electrolytes packets or flavoring. Cons: - Outside scratches easily but I didn’t bother me personally. - I wish the bottles would come in larger size. Overall very happy with this bottle and will get more colors in the future.

CamelBak coming after Nalgene and Hydro Flask?
I have been a CamelBak product user since they started as a business decades ago. They were very much into their bladders and packs and I have over a dozen older packs (the newer ones don't impress me at the retail stores so I have yet to pick one up except the Rogue Light -- total disappointment.) This water bottle is really amazing. It keeps things cold for a good duration (at least for the event I am doing). It is easy to clean (unlike their bladders that require special tools and chemicals -- I am so used to that now so it's not an issue but still a pain to clean the pipes and the bladder). One tiny con is the opening/closing of the spout is a bit stiff in the beginning, but I use both hands to flip it (definitely not easy flipping it from locked to unlock while riding). But other than that, I love that it is easy to use, easy to clean, doesn't leak (if locked), and I like the color of this one and it seems well designed to fit snug in a bike water bottle carrier. I have two of these and I absolutely love these. A few people I recommended to and bought it asked me about the straw. It is not really a straw, and it does not touch the bottom intentionally. It is not a design flaw. It is designed so you can sip it or tilt and drink out of it. It also has an additional function of an internal pressure vent because these are not squeeze bottles (stainless steel). I use these for biking, short hikes, and even for working out now. These are amazing! In the end, I hope they keep making these. Worth every penny for a nice double walled water bottle that keeps things cool for hours. I would buy these repeatedly as needed. Just keep the price below $40 and I will always come back to pick one up if one is lost, stolen or just gets destroyed from wear and tear. Highly recommend! Hope this helps.

Keeps water cold and fits in standard cages- Great item!
Keeps water cold for hours! Filled them with a couple of ice cubes, hit the road on a crazy humid hot day, and kept the water cold for well over 2 and a half hours ( bottles were empty by then). Well worth it. Fits nicely in standard cages, does rattle a little on rough spots on road though zero concerns about falling out. Bottles get scratched up on metal cages but I don't care; only drawback is if your hands or gloves are sweaty, they can be tough to get out of cages. I ordered some grip tape to solve that issue.

Great solution to eliminate plastic water bottles AND have ice water for a long ride!
I wanted to get away from plastic water bottles, especially before a 200 mile ride in the hot, direct sun. I was willing to give up the convenience of being able to squeeze water into my mouth (these obviously aren't flexible) for the trade-off of safe stainless steel. They are heavier so if you're trying to cut extra weight for a long ride, these are not going to help. But they're insulated, so if you're riding in the hot, these will keep ice water for you. However, it's worth knowing that these have a silicone straw so you can still drink on the road, and the lid is plastic, so you're not eliminating plastic entirely, but it's a huge improvement. They are dishwasher safe, which is great. For the most part, they also still fit in a standard bike cage, although one of our bikes did not accommodate these bottles - they seem to be just a tiny bit larger than a standard squeeze bottle. Overall - I like these and ended up buying two for the kids. Safe, clean water was more important to me than the weight.

Finally, water that doesn’t turn into hot tub temperature
I bought this CamelBak Podium Stainless Steel bottle specifically for long bike rides in the summer, and it has been a HUGE improvement over the plastic insulated bottles I was using. With my plastic bottles, I could leave the house with ice-cold water and a couple hours later take a nice refreshing sip of something approximately the temperature of bath water. Not with this thing. The stainless steel insulation actually works. Even on long rides in the heat, my water stays genuinely cold for hours. Throw some ice in it before the ride and you can still have cold water waiting for you well into the ride instead of the lukewarm disappointment you normally get from a plastic bottle sitting in the sun. It’s obviously a little heavier than a plastic cycling bottle, but I’ll happily carry a few extra ounces if it means my water doesn’t taste like it was stored in the trunk of a car in July. It also fits perfectly in my bike’s bottle cage and is easy to drink from while riding. If you regularly ride in hot weather, this is absolutely worth the upgrade. Cold water at mile 30 hits differently.

Definite upgrade over a plastic bottle
[From a road cyclist] Even with the added weight, this bottle is a must have if you're going on longer rides, like 2+ hours. It keeps liquids cold or cool, and will retain ice depending on outside temp. I recently did a morning ride in SoCal in ~68 F weather and while the ice did melt, my water was much cooler and fresher than the plastic bottles (even insulated) could match. Added notes: -I ride a Roubaix, and while the bottle did easily fit into the Specialized bottle cage, it rattles a bit over rough pavement. The cap also leaks from time to time, but I've found this is solved by closing the valve (rather than always leaving it open to drink). -This bottle is absolute MUST for endurance rides, like 60+ miles. I recently did a century and this thing saved me, so much better than drinking the lukewarm bathwater we're all sadly accustomed to :)

Ditch plastic and switch to stainless
I bought the 22 ounce CamelBak stainless steel water bottle for cycling and have no regrets. I initially bought this as I am transitioning away from plastic drinking bottles and food containers. The stainless CamelBak keeps your drinks colder for longer than their plastic version and water tastes crisper in this as well.. I was concerned that the bottle would rattle while in its cage when riding but that has not been the case. I am a road rider so I can’t speak to it rattling if you’re a gravel or mountain biker. The stainless CamelBak is also much easier to clean than the plastic ones. I would highly recommend this product.

Functions well, but looks terrible after a few uses
The functionality of this product works as described. Keeps your water cold and it functions like other road bike bottles. Twister nozzle and drink while stopped or while you’re riding. When you get it new, it’s gorgeous but the lower part of the bottle should be coated or rubberized or something because after a few uses in my bike rack bottle holder it destroys the finish and it looks like crap. Didn’t they think of that?

Great premium water bottle
Great water bottle! I have a Trek FX Sport 6 and the seat post bottle cage will only accommodate a short water bottle or else the top tube would prevent it from being used. It looks like a premium water bottle, no plastic taste to the water, easy to drink from one handed and easily cleaned. Kept my electrolyte drink cold for 2 hours on a day with 29 Celsius weather in the sun, no problem. I understand it can keep water cold for 12 hours but I drink a lot on the bike and will always need to refill every couple of hours. Worry not, your drink will stay cold for as long as you need it to.

👍 Gut

Perfect
The stainless steel bike bottle has excellent quality and keeps drinks cold very well. The locking system works perfectly and prevents any leaks, and overall performance is great. However, choosing the white color was a mistake, as it got scratched by the bike holder and left black marks that affected its appearance. Still, I don’t really mind anymore because the quality is outstanding.
