If you're happy planning every swimming activity around a menstrual cycle, you can skip these. But if you want a practical solution that helps make periods less of a barrier to enjoying the water, they're well worth considering. If you're like my daughter and don't want swimming lessons, holidays, or days at the pool dictated by the time of the month, these make a real difference. Before trying them, there was always a bit of worry around swimming during her period and whether she'd feel comfortable or confident in the water. Now she simply puts them on as part of her swimwear and gets on with enjoying her time in the pool without the same level of stress or planning. The fit is comfortable, the low-waist design looks like regular bikini bottoms, and they don't feel bulky or obvious when worn. Most importantly, they helped her feel much more relaxed and confident. They cost more than ordinary swimwear, but compared to replacing swim sessions, missing activities, or constantly worrying about leaks, they feel like good value.

Bought these for my niece who was worried about being on her period on holiday. Great fit. Doesn’t look too bulky or padded. They did the trick and I’ll be buying another pair for myself. Very good price. I’ve tried more expensive options that didn’t work as well or feel as comfortable.

I was sceptical at first but when i wore it while i was swimming it did the job. I wore my other swimming underwear over it but to just add a extra layer and it felt like i wasnt on my period at all. I did leak a bit but my flows quite heavy so hence why. Will defo recommend wearing it on day 3-4 but for day 1-2 it did an amazing job.

These are great for teens. Very comfortable , wash really well and very secure. No leakages.

I'm not recommend this as it doesn't provides what is says it does. It leaked even I didn't go in the water and I wore them for nearly 2 h , no heavy period and still no good enough. No recommend for wearing this for swimming on your period . Avoid disappointment.

Pleasantly surprised, these were bought as a last minute emergency for my daughter who started her period the day before we went away. I was apprehensive that they wouldn’t work, but she spent plenty of time in the sea and was no signs of any leakage.

Sized up due to reading previous reviews, definitely the right thing to do as do come up small. Do the job, matches existing black bikinis and useful for holidays

REALLY poor quality did not even feel like bikini bottoms- like poor quality panties! There is no way you would wear these on the beach or at the pool. I bought before from modibody- they were more expensive but a MUCH better product.

Wore these pants from the 2nd day of period and it worked really well, nothing leaked so I totally recommend them! They look a bit like regular underwear but they also fit under normal bikini (if it's not too revealing) so it's a good thing to be able to "hide" them if you want to wear a set and match it with the bikini bra :)
