I am fostering a pregnant dog for a rescue. I started off researching the birthing process on the internet and also have access to experts to answer questions if needed. I initially ordered this kit for the supplies, but was pleasantly surprised with the volume of information that comes with it as well. In my opinion, the 97-page free E-book would be worth the cost of the whole lot. It provides much more detail on whelping and raising pups to weening than any website or video that I found, while at the same time being concise and organized enough to be able to look up information in a hurry if needed. You can tell that the author is a true professional with lots of real world experience. There are also several chapters dedicated to selling/homing puppies for people who are breeding. In addition, there is a physical page containing quick-reference information that will be handy to have nearby during the actual whelping. The mom and puppy record charts are well thought out and contain notes so that you didn't have to re-read the E- book to use them properly. Given the level of detailed information provided, I have faith that the tools included will be high quality and useful. Just a note in response to some prior reviews I read - the nipples arrived with holes already made, and there are two sizes of collars included for use on different size breeds or to keep up with growing puppies. I'm not sure why the larger collars have little metal rings attached, I wish there was some explanation provided. I may cut them off to avoid a potential safety concern. Overall, I highly recommend this kit to anyone new to whelping puppies, you will get your money's worth!

Not only is this kit perfect, but it’s also put together with love and care by a self run small business owner who is passionate about what she does! Everything in this kit is perfect and great quality, I’m obsessed with the collar colors and i love how soft they are! The nipples for the bottle and syringes seem durable but also soft enough to be comfortable for newborn puppies. (My dog is 135lbs and her puppies are probably going to be hefty so I was relieved when I felt them!! The umbilical cord clips and scissors are perfect. I will most likely be washing them and reusing them in the future! The booklet is full of great information. It contains a shopping checklist to prepare for the pups, a chart to keep track of mom’s temperature in the week leading up to labor, charts to keep track of the time puppies are born/collar color/weight/health notes/deworming and vaccinations chart and vaccinations chart and so much more!! I am beyond grateful and thankful for the thoughtfulness that went into this package! I will definitely be buying from this company again and will share the link with anyone who may need it!! Cannot rave more about this product! We are first time breeders and I was nervous about being prepared and this kit really eased my nerves. It’s very educational I’m a week in and still referring to the weekly breakdown chart. It comes with everything you might need if your mama dog doesn’t naturally take over. Luckily for us our girl knew just what to do but I did use the air sucker once just to be sure baby was clear. The charts are the most helpful it gives you clear instructions and space to keep track of birth order, weights, and vaccines. We made copies of everything and I use them daily. Also the small puppy collars were perfect small enough to fit chihuahua puppies! If we ever need more of these items I will happily repurchase!

This kit is almost perfect. May need to add a couple more colors as just in case. Our golden first time mom had 12 babies 1/12/26. Also a slightly smaller round nipple would be perfect for the large breed puppies. The one is comes with it slightly too big and sz below that is way too small. Only had to use 1 clip as mom chewed all cords but 1 bled a bit more that we used 1. Forms are top notch and worth the price just for those. Thanks for such a well put together kit. Would buy puppy certificates and puppy packets if you came out with those.

Was okay. Looking back I didn’t need to spend the money on this The bottles had TERRIBLE nipples. Could NOT get the hole right.

I wish I could give this 6 stars as this kit was a godsend for me as it was my first time delivering puppies. This was a great value as well as it came with so many helpful charts as well as an ebook that really made me feel comfortable and I believe kept my dog and her puppies safe. The kit came packaged well and looks professional and well thought out. I would highly recommend this to anyone! I wish I would have made copies of the forms beforehand so I could have them for the next time though because they are great for tracking through the life stages. WELL DONE!

Phenomenal information and great kit. Our pups surprised us by coming a couple days earlier than our whelping kit could arrive and I would definitely still recommend this purpose even if your puppies arrived before you bought a kit or were a surprise. Everything is good quality and the personal note from the sweet woman selling was so wonderful.

I adore most of this kit. It is a great product and SUPER informative. Great card stock. Smaller collars they enclosed were fabulous. I wish they had these in different sizes for different stages instead of the other collars. I LOVE this set EXCEPT for the bigger collars with the metal ring are dangerous. They do NOT adjust the way , say a bracelet does. Instead the extra length sticks out and catches the dogs legs and can cut off the circulation. Almost hung 1 puppy. I would pull those from the kit or test each batch.
