I wanted a pair of glasses that were polarized and had decent UV protection and NOT made by Luxottica. Mine came with a few slivers of wood already coming off of the frame but that was about it, does not seem to suffer from further damage nor warrant me returning them. As others have said, I would have preferred them to be a bit darker so that you cannot see the eyes through them easily (make them more mirrored), and also provide a bit of better shading from the sun instead of just a dull yellow type of shaded protection.However, it is a unique pair of glasses that work well in the Florida sun at a very good price-point. I definitely recommend that you give a pair of these glasses a shot as they serve their purpose more than satisfactorily. Also, on a random side-note, they come in a rather neat and unique wooden tube and has a nice pouch and micro fiber cloth to better safeguard and maintain your product.
