Update: After about 2 weeks, the rubber on top that covers the toe started to separate from the neoprene. At one point on the inner side, there is a boot stress point that becomes evident as it flexes in movement. I returned the boot to Amazon for a replacement. The new boot appears to have less neoprene material in the boot stress point area providing a more snug fit and less flexing. I hope this keeps the rubber from separating from the neoprene. The first boot may have just not been glued correctly. I still love this boot immensely and think the component quality/build are superior. =================================================================================================== Luv, luv, luv my little ninja boots. I was looking for a minimalist shoe that wasn't extremely expensive, poorly designed or low quality. That has been my experience to date with this niche. I use this boot daily for trail walking on mixed dirt, gravel and brick trail sections. I also use it for practicing Tai-Chi and martial arts. Even though this is a cheap Chinese manufactured product, the quality of this boot can't be emphasized enough. I would put it in league with my very expensive Italian footwear. These boots are so comfortable on my feet. I had a pair of Teva water shoes before that were cumbersome to put on, bound my ankles and the rubber sole cracked. The design of this boot does not bind your ankle yet you will never have to worry about the zippered over the ankle neoprene slipping off. The neoprene gently hugs your ankle and leg. The rubber sole covers all the areas it needs to and is extremely flexible. The areas that frequently come in contact with objects above the ribbed rubber sole are covered with a tough rubber that works well. The sole rubber is very sticky. The sole is thick enough to ensure medium sized gravel will not hurt your feet. Larger size rocks will of course make themselves known since the rubber is very flexible. These boots are incredibly easy to clean. I just spray them off outside whenever I return home--mud gone and my feet are dry. I then use them inside for my exercises like stretching, yoga and Tai-Chi. I really don't want to ever take them off. The zipper allows for easy on and off. The zipper is very large and heavy duty. It will not auto unzip with heavy use. I want to add to the sizing info. My foot size is 10.5 U.S. I read in a review that the boot size 10 is a "snug" fit for a 10.5 foot. That is accurate. However, you cannot walk in the size 10 without binding your toes and impeding a smooth gait. You can get them on but you will not have enough room to comfortably cover any distance in them. Boot size 11 is a little less snug about the middle of the foot but the heel and toe are just the right fit to allow proper use of the boot. You can wear an average sock inside the 11 shoe size with a 10.5 foot. If you are a foot size 10, the 11 shoe size would be too big. Boot size 10 shoe would fit perfectly without a sock on a size 10 foot.

Good for rocky entries into the ocean. Good traction on the bottom and lightweight neoprene on the top. Fit true to size

These are comfortable and true to size. They protect my feet well from the material of the fins and they keep me warm in cooler water. They are a little better quality than the off brands you find on Amazon. Is the slight increase in quality worth the 35% or so increase in price? You decide for yourself.

Pros. Well made given its price point. Pretty good protection for mostly sandy conditions. They fit legacy ScubsPro jet fins size Large (i.e., the design used by some commercial, military and recreational divers.) Cons. This model is a “relaxed fit” designed to fit just about every foot and ankle width. It’s true to size in terms of foot length but it runs wide. Those wearing a size D shoe will find these loose. It’s also extremely loose around the ankle. Not a problem in temperate waters but it does create considerable drag when kicking. Bottom Line. I needed booties for a warm water diving trip that fit the small foot pocket of size Large ScubaPro Jet fins with a spring strap. These satisfied the short term need but are not a long-term solution. The hunt for well fitting booties that fit a size Large Jet fin continues …

They are very well made, but seem to run a little small. I would order 1 size larger.

I bought these for use in my open water scuba certification. They fit well. They have a stub in the back to keep your fins on. They worked well with my fins. They were light weight but with a solid bottom for footing. They were comfortable. Well worth the money and should last for a long time.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these. I wanted something really tough but lightweight and flexible. I got all that plus amazing grip with these. I use them while kayak fishing. The bottom is a tough rubber with a straight line pattern tread from left to right of the foot, that provides amazing traction while walking up or down slopes. It's that kind of rubber that's so grippy if you hit a tile or wood floor with it it gives you that screech like a clean Nike shoe on a basketball court. They are so lightweight I don't mind leaving them on the whole day I'm out fishing. But they are protective enough and supportive enough to keep on while stopping at a store on the way home without hurting your feet. The zipper is a nice thick plastic one that's very easy to use. I've had them a couple months now and been out 5-7 times with them. I'm really happy with the purchase.

We’ll made, fit true to size for my size 10 feet. Comfortable. Good grip. Work like they should EXCEPT the zipper slides down. I like Cressida brand and products and own a full wetsuit which I’m happy with. When the zipper comes down as I SUP and wing foil, it’s the equivalent of an upside down umbrella in the rain…actually worse! Stupid design flaw…a simple, inexpensive hook and loop closure over the zipper when up would have been an easy fix. Obviously nobody on the Cressi design team actually tried them before commercializing them and making them available for sale. Super frustrating. I purchased two hook and loop elastic straps to remedy.
