I leave the bags in the bottle till I’m done with the beverage. No sour or bitter taste. Just remember to keep it cold. This tea is amazing enough to drink straight but if you need a sweet kick that won’t neurologically rot your brain like so many artificial sweeteners do. I prefer stevia. Sweet drops to be specific. They pair well together and I add them at the same time I pour the cold water in and the flavor does not sour even if left in fridge for a hour or two. This one bottle I try to enjoy over the course of an hour or less if it’s warming up. Once it’s gets warm and sits for a while. The magic is gone and the lush antioxidant goodness turn brown and taste like crap. If you try my method I think you will love it. Each bag is individually packaged, so it's fresh for each cup. A perk for busy people: tea bag only brews for 30 seconds! Then you dunk the bag a few (5) times & it's done.
