I have had major dry skin issues with previous body washes. I live in Colorado, and the winter weather makes it even worse. I have been on a hunt to find something that doesn’t make my skin burn like crazy after a shower (even after moisturizing). I eventually tried this, and it actually worked for my skin!! Everyone is different, but I personally can use this and not sit with burning skin after a shower. I like the thickness of it, and it lathers really well. It works well and is effective at the main task, cleaning. I am satisfied with the value for money. My spouse and I both use it, and it lasts us a while! Especially compared to thinner body washes. The only negative is the scent. It smells odd. My spouse thinks it smells like play-do. I think it smells “chalky.” We are on our second bottle, and I will definitely buy again if it keeps working for me. The lotion I now use is Gold Bond Pure Moisture. This combined with the Dove has relieved a crazy amount of irritation for me.

I have psoriasis and eczema and have tried so many products. I love this wash. It is the only one so far that can be purchased over the counter that really soothes my skin. I use and I seem to have less skin issues.

This is a perfect bodywash if you have sensitive dry skin with eczema!! A perfect moisturizer and works best with a puff!

This is my favorite body wash but wth why did this jump up to $20?! Dove are you going to come out with some clarifications because a lot of us really enjoy and love this body wash but we are left confused as to why it’s hard for us to get our hands on a product that works for our sensitive eczema prone skin. This is my holy grail body wash that has SAVED!! My skin. I tried aveenos oatmeal body wash but it didn’t feel the same in the long run compared to Doves line.

This product has been a game changer for my ezcema. I don't really smell anything pre or post lathering. The consistency is nice. Not too thick and not too liquidy. Definitely expensive now 6/24/26@ $20/. But I like to bulk buy the product. I was stalking the product online every couple weeks earlier in the year and bought like six bottles at $6.99/ that way is so worth it.

Leaves a slight, expected residue from oatmeal and cream base. Slight oatmeal scent you expect from this kind of product. If you have eczema, you know. Does work really well but I still prefer a "cleaner" clean with no residue left on the skin. It helps and is ok for winter, but otherwise I don't prefer it. It may be more useful for those who truly require oatmeal in their eczema products, which I don't.

the BEST body wash for my severe eczema. i’m so sad it goes out of stock so often. i’ve never found anything that works as well as this body wash. it literally saved me as a healthcare worker (so much handwashing!) during the winter — it’s magical. my boyfriend thought i had started applying lotion straight out of the shower … that’s how soft it made my skin.
