Punky Temporary Hair Color Spray – Siberian White, Instant Vivid Temporary Hair Dye for Women, Wash Out, Hair-Color Spray, 3.5 oz

I used the Siberian White color for a Bride of Frankenstein costume, to create the two stripes on the sides of my hair. I was concerned that it was going to spray everywhere and create a dust cloud, as described in other comments, but it did not. It was very controlled and easy to manage. My hair is very dark and the white color stood out really well against it. It stayed put and didn't smear everywhere. It also washed out easily- I only did one shampooing and it was out, with no evidence afterwards. I will use this product again for future costumes!

This product worked very well, especially compared to the kind I got at spirit halloween. I will warn you though, I have fluffy chin length hair and one whole bottle was barely enough to cover it. It wasn’t hard or grainy though, just stiff. My natural color showed through a little but I think if I had more product I could have fixed it

A little background, I'm 46 and have been dying my roots black for about 12 years. For the past year, I've been fighting gray roots coming in every week. I was tired of having to color every couple weeks only to have to use other methods to hide the gray in the in-between times. So, the last time I colored my hair (7/30/20) I decided that it was t actually the last time. I had no idea my roots were so white, some of it is a mix of brown and silver, and areas are just silver... and it's a very stark contrast against the black hair. I bought this white hair spray to try to blend my white into the black a little. It turns the black a dark shade of gray with a light misting. I use it mostly in the front to help get a slightly more uniform appearance. It doesn't completely cover the black, not even with multiple sprays, but I will say that it helps and that it does look a little better than the harsh line between the black and white. It has a strong smell... not an unpleasant smell, but quite fragrant. The scent will fade some after awhile, but if you're highly sensitive to strong odors, this one may bother you. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that this product sprayed on my already gray hair makes it look awesomely white and bright! So if you already have gray locks and wish they were lighter, this will do the trick!

I’ve tried other brands, this brand is superior.

I ordered Punky Color hair paint for a rush job on a birthday project - to transform a stuffed brown dog into a white and brown dog that resembled my daughter's pet. After I ordered the "Punky Color", I saw a similar can of spray at Walmart for 1/4 the price. So, I bought it too, thinking it would save me the time I had to wait for the online purchase. I'd say the "Punky Color" did a better job (no flaking after drying, better coverage) than the Walmart purchase (Goodmark brand), but it also cost $9.95 to the Walmart's $2.48. To be fair, the Punky Color had half an ounce more in the can as well. The Walmart brand had a more kid-friendly, soft, smell but the Punky Color had a normal hairspray fragrance. So, I'll let you decide, as my purposes were totally unique compaired to spraying human hair. Both washed off easily with water.

Not what I needed turns gray on black hair

If you are looking for a product that covers quick and easy, even on dark hair, this is it. I use it on my beard and hair for making it look white for Santa. It is easy to use with a very pleasant odor unlike many of the other products I have used. One quick burst will turn your hair white. I immediately bought a second bottle for next year just to make sure I will have it.

I went grey after the pandemic and I love it. But sometimes I want a little more white. Make sure to style hair before you spray. It will make hair feel hard. Washes out easy with no harsh effects. Smells pretty good but I’m not really big on scented stuff.
