I found this by a TikTok video for the worst curly method or something like that. I used to be an Aussie gel user for my curls but this stuff is amazing I also paired it with the scrunching gel. Frizz control is good and so is the hold to scrunch out the crunch. I have 2C-3A curls. Smells good! The picture posted, was after being in a rainy climate all day with humidity so there is a little frizz showing but that’s just the way my hair is!

The gel smells like bananas like other reviews mentioned. The gel dried my hair and did not hold as advertised. The pink curl gelly works better for me. Also, my gel came partially open and with gel all over the place. This was a very disappointing purchase.

I have gotten so many compliments on the fragrance of my hair. It is absolutely delish, without being super sweet. It is a little sticky, but no more than normal gel. Dries lovely though. Good product. Will be buying again. I have think coarse hair, it worked like a charm. Got rid of all the frizzels.

I will update after I used the product. It arrived with the lid cracked and product leaking into the shipping envelope. I can say that it smells amazing and clings to surfaces but washes off with soap and water and no greasy residue! The 3 stars is just because of the product container breaking so easily in shipping.

I wasn’t getting lasting hold with the Curl Jelly so decided to try this Banana Gel, which claims strong frizz free hold. My hair is very coarse so it resists hold. I need my curls to lock in and define and stay that way for 3-4 days. The first time I used the Banana Gel, I didn’t use quite enough. I think the leave in conditioner interfered with the amount of hold I got. I need a leave in with heat protection so I bought the Curl Whip mousse to try as a first styling step. This worked better. Curls are more defined and stay longer. But here in Florida it’s hard to avoid frizz especially in the summer heat and high humidity. Because I want volume I can handle a bit of frizz. The Banana Gel did work better than the Curl Jelly. And it wasn’t hard to scrunch out the crunch. I got soft ringlets and no frizz to speak of for days 1 and 2. The Banana Gel also smells amazing but it dissipated quickly. I’m now experimenting with the amount of mousse to gel ratio. I’ve tried so many other highly rated gels but this brand has come out on top every time. Highly recommended for hard to hold coarse hair types. I’ll still use the Curl Jelly just when the weather here in Hades land cools off and the humidity drops.

This is a very good smelling gel, it smells like bananas!! But it does not have a strong hold at all.

One star for packing not the product itself. I buy mostly from this brand because all their products are excellent for curly hair! But this time it came opened and product spilled all over package. It needs to be properly sealed with tape or wrapped sealed to prevent spillage. Amazon needs to do better!

This gel is fabulous I have very fine fly away hair. It is the best I've tried the gel comes in a huge container, it will serve me for months. Happy days.

Worst gel I've used in a while. No hold whatsoever, complete frizz the next day. The pink curl jelly is much better.

Not a strong hold. Did not form any cast at all ( no need for scrunching curls after they dry) gave soft waves. Was expecting better .
