Comfortable and warm
These are very nice socks. They are very similar to Randy Sun Waterproof socks but are slightly thinner so fit a little better in shoes that do not have a lot of extra room. Since they are slightly thinner, they are not quite as warm but otherwise serve the same purpose. I use them for hiking in cold, wet weather and for skiing. I haven't found any of these "waterproof" socks to actually be completely waterproof, but they help hold off the damp longer than regular socks and keep my feet warm even if water eventually leaks through. Pair them with Gore-Tex-lined boots or shoes and they are good for 2-3+ hours hiking in the rain.Sizing runs big. I have both these and Randy Sun socks in medium, and these are quite a bit bigger. I wear size 9 mens shoes and womens 10-10.5. These socks in medium are a little loose, even over a liner sock, but they are easier to pull off than the Randy Sun socks, which are especially hard to get off when they get wet.If you have never tired these or Randy Sun socks, you are in for a treat. Due to the nature of the socks, they add a little cushion to each step, which makes me want to wear them even when it is not cold or wet out. I have never had a problem with sweaty feet in these or any other sock, but a friend whose feet runner warmer than mine finds these socks too warm for anything but cold weather.

Great for hiking in water
We bought these to wear in Zion National Park while we hiked the Narrows. We rented suits that had built in neoprene socks, but wore these underneath as well for an additional layer of protection. It was 20 degrees outside and our feet stayed warm in and out of the water. Highly recommend!

Good value for your money
Warm and comfortable. Still waiting for some washing machine processing to tell you about it's durability

Excellent product
When I first put these on, to try them on, they felt tight; I was worried they'd be too tight. I bought them to wear with boating, where my feet get soaking wet and stay that way several hours. These turned out to be very comfortable and stayed comfy for several hours. They also kept my feet completely dry. I do recommend these, and wear them around - don't go by the initial try-on. I also liked them because though they're warm, they're not too warm - my feet didn't get hot. I think they felt on the stiff side at first because though they look like a regular athletic sock, they feel different, and I'm used to that other feel. If you are hiking or boating or anything where your feet might get wet and stay that way, I do highly recommend these socks.

Not for me
This product was not for me. It was pretty much as described but they leave one important detail out. When you put them on you feel like you have plastic bags between two layers of socks. It makes since why that is but had I know that’s how they did it I would not have bought them. I’m kind of picky about my feet so that may not bother some people but definitely not for me.

Highly water resistant but not waterproof
I purchased these socks for a kayaking trip in March, hoping to keep my feet dry and warm while kayaking. They did keep my feet warm and cozy, but once I got home and took them off, I realized my feet were wet. I would purchase them again because they protected my feet from the cold even though my feet ended up getting wet from being submerged a few times.
