Bought these for my kids for when we go camping and hunting. I was really hoping they were going to be good. Unfortunately, one had a dead battery for the light and its whistle isn't working as well as the other one. Other than that, they work for the most part. The fire striker is hard to use because the tool to strike it is very dull. In an emergency, I'd be worried about getting a fire going. I have other bracelets I have purchased that cost a bit more, had less, and worked better. Will skip on buying anymore from here. Update: After further inspection, one of the compasses is facing the wrong way, the light is scratched up, and the whistle doesn't really function. I even took the tools out to see if the compass had interference. Extremely disappointing! Update 2: I contacted the company about my issues and they were quick to reply and send me two more bracelets. While I appreciate the quick customer service, one of the compasses didn't work until I removed all the tools. I gave two stars for quick customer service and the fact they sent 2 bracelets.

Bought this for the compass and LED. I was disappointed at first because the compass seemed like it was inaccurate and one of the LED didn't work. I contacted the seller and he was very helpful. All you have to do to make the compass work is to remove the metals below it. Also, seller sent me an LED replacement that I just easily switched with the defective one. It works like a charm now. I like the color too and the size is easily adjustable.

The LED lights aren't working. One reviewer said to apply firm direct pressure in the middle of the light to turn on. Another one said their LED lite didnt work and there isnt a way to replace the batteries. Otherwise I like the product quality for the price. What else can I do to replace the led lite so that I can use it hiking? I go on hikes frequently.

Initially things work as they are supposed to. I had these for just a week and gave them out as prizes, so I didn't get to try them in all situations. The led light works as advertised easy to operate. The buckle clips and unclips as it should and the adjustability is a great feature. The compass seems to work, you just have to be smart about compass use and remove the metal tools from inside the clip and hold the compass level so that it is free floating for accuracy. If you have access to better more convenient tools, that is one thing, but if you are stuck and this is what you have, I'm sure you would really appreciate having something with you. This definitely should be part of your hiking/camping/boating/hunting/survival gear, especially if you are only going to carry light and this is it.

I have to say I was impressed with these...The whistle was high pitched, it appears to be well-made, the compass, though small, was easy to see and accurate. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the small light but I made it more difficult than it was ... a simple press of the button turned on the light and two presses caused the light to pulse. There were two little metal items compactly stored which I pulled out but am not a camper so will leave the owner to figure out how to use them. I'm thinking the package of two were a good buy. These happened to be for an older camper but just thought how younger campers would be soooo impressed, too!!!
