But for a newer paddler like me, I don't need the fancy art on a paddle yet... And I may never need it. I love dragon boating and I love the exercise it provides... Only problem is the grip part on the shaft. Tends to rip your skin off if you paddle without any hand protection. I had to put tape over the entire grip area to protect the hand.
