You do need the little tykes story dream machine As these are only compatible with that machine I believe. I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter and she loved it so much that I ended up buying it a second time as a gift for my niece. I am quite crunchy and try to only let my daughter watch and listen to books that come from characters I was exposed to as a child in the 90s. These books are perfect because they are short and colourful stories. Perfect for when you’re tired mom and don’t want to read a story. We listen to two or three at night. I’m sure I will continue to buy this again for my other nieces as they grow old enough. If you do some searching, there are lots of other characters as well. We also have sister Bear, The Grinch and cat in the hat. The only con is that the narrator‘s voice is quite monotone. But that definitely wouldn’t determine me from purchasing it again. I do love the product, only thing that would make it better is if it was actually in the character’s voices.

Little tikes dream machine story books with one character, machine sold separately.
I bought three of these for 3 granddaughters for Christmas, they love watching these little stories at bedtime, helps them settle down for bed! They all live the trolls movie , so we had three exciting girls for sure .. quality is also always perfect on all of these . Have ordered so many and will continue..

Cute stories
I really like the dream story machine ! I’ve got a 2 year old and we enjoy turning it on at bedtime ! Price isn’t bad considering each figure comes with three story books and a cute little figurine topper! Has good picture quality ! Super easy to use ! I imagine she would be able to start it up by herself before to long !
