Build was easy, not like a flat pack crap at all, screws etc were of good quality steel, in fact this is the best built unit I have come across in a long time,very well engineered, it's not the standard dowels with a hole, far from it,Looks, fit's in nicely and there is a certain wow factor, your gona get comments (good)Solid shelf, no fear for a 40lb amp, even the glass shelves are held fast with small steel screw clamps (soft tops)The curves give it that muscle kind of feeling, just what your looking for in a Hifi unit.

The assembly instructions are hopeless. The product is overpriced considering you have to assemble it yourself with very poor instructions. Should retail at half the price given the above.

Great focal piece near by the tv (used to house my home cinema unit, xbox 360 and router). Everyone comments on it, and it always looks great.Only criticism of it, is the dimensional drawings on the listing do not tell you how wide the usable part of the shelves are and as a result I had to adjust to top shelf on mine to accommodate my cinema unit. You can't tell I adjusted it as I didn't rush it and took my time and stained the exposed wood after, but it was a pain in the ar$3 having assembled it only to discover the massive flaw in the instructions at that point.If your wondering, it's 470mm wide by approx 405mm deep for useable area on each shelf - allow room for the wires. Just make sure your units are no larger then this and should be fine.

This looked really good and when it arrived, was pleased. But the glass shelves don't fit snugly and the holding screws for those shelves aren't really up to the job. The join at the top of the item between different sections is a bit dodgy, and the sleves themselves aren't very large, so if you have full-size hifi components, they are a bit of a squeeze and difficult to access the rear to plug in leads, etc. A bit of a design triumph and practical disaster.

Very impressed with this item. Difficult to understand why others did not rate it highly. Unit looks really good and attracts positive comments from visitors. Was quite easy to assemble if you followed the instructions carefully. Also good value at the price compared to some other much more expensive units available.

Really stunning hi fi unit, it looks stylish it sturdy and perfect for Amp, speaker, media players. Very pleased with this product.

J'ai remplacé mon ancien meuble HIFI fermé très classique par celui-ci vu Amazon. Aucun problème de montage. Juste des petits patins en feutre épais ajoutées sous les pieds pour éviter que les plaques de renfort ne rendent bancal le meuble une fois posé au sol.Nickel.

Great looking stand and functions well, took 20 mins to set up

Je l'ai acheté car le design et le style semblaient parfaits pour ma chaîne hi-fi stéréo: platine vinyle, amplificateur, 2x lecteurs CD, il semblait cocher toutes les cases et avait l'air super.Il a fière allure, il est relativement robuste et les étagères en verre trempé fonctionnent bien et elles ont l'air bien, mais il est clair qu'il n'a pas été conçu par quelqu'un qui a un plateau tournant de `` taille normale '' avec un couvercle à charnière (le mien est un Technics PL1210 Mk2), car il est impossible d'ouvrir le couvercle une fois qu'il est placé sur l'étagère supérieure.Le problème est qu'il n'y a pas assez de jeu entre l'étagère et le surplomb du cadre en bois à l'arrière: le plateau tournant avec couvercle s'insère juste sous le cadre en bois, ce qui signifie qu'il est impossible d'ouvrir le couvercle. Avancer le plateau tournant vers l'avant de l'étagère en verre n'améliore rien.J'ai enlevé l'étagère supérieure et placé le plateau tournant sur la deuxième étagère, mais le couvercle à charnière ne pouvait toujours pas être ouvert suffisamment pour placer un LP sur le plateau tournant sans risque de l'endommager, en plus cela avait l'air ridicule sans l'étagère supérieure!Pour que l'unité fonctionne pour moi, j'ai placé l'étagère inférieure sur le dessus de l'unité, le dos en bois et les 2 côtés soutenaient parfaitement l'étagère. J'ai mis des coussinets de feutre sous le verre pour amortir où il était assis sur le cadre et mis 3 petites pinces à l'arrière pour maintenir le verre à l'arrière de l'appareil. Le plateau tournant fonctionne parfaitement là-bas et est en fait à une hauteur plus pratique pour l'utilisation.J'ai commandé une autre étagère en verre au fabricant pour remplacer celle du bas que j'ai déplacée vers le haut et maintenant l'unité est complètement fonctionnelle!J'ai écrit au fabricant pour lui expliquer la situation et ma solution pour y remédier, mais ils n'ont montré aucun intérêt!Pour récapituler: belle apparence et style, mais si vous avez un plateau tournant avec un couvercle à charnière, cela ne fonctionne pas sans modification.
