Cotton Summer Beanie for Men & Women

This is the cap I've been looking for! I lost my hair to chemo and acquired several wigs, which I soon realized I can't stand wearing, and then a lot of caps that were supposed to be cotton or bamboo but were not. They had spandex, elastic, polyester -- I'm not sure there's really cotton or bamboo in any of them, and they fit to the head like swim caps. This cap, however, is perfect. It is cotton, lightweight, and not tight. It does require hand washing and hang drying, it's slightly on the large side if anything (although I prefer this style), and its main downside is the price. Considering what I've paid for bad ones though, I went ahead and bought a second one in another color, and am tempted to buy a third (but with chemo finished, I'm hoping my hair grows back soon!). Your mileage may vary, but I wish I'd bought these in the first place! It's by far my favorite.

My mom is going through chemo treatment and was losing so much hair that she finally shaved it off. This beanie is perfect for the hot summer months because it's thin. As others have stated, it does have a loose fit, but this is actually a good thing for my mom. She wears glasses and most beanies fit tightly and put too much pressure at the temple where the glasses sit and her head hurts soon after putting the beanie on. This beanie, she can wear all day and her head never hurts like with other beanies. So if you wear glasses, you might prefer this beanie over the others due to the looser fit. Even though it fits loosely, it never falls off her head so it will stay put.

Doubt these are 100% cotton or I would rate 5 stars. . Something suspiciously rubbery/stretchy about this fabric. The blue is NOT blue, even a little bit. It is medium gray. The color won’t even bleach out. Another indicator it is not cotton. I have lost my hair from chemotherapy and my scalp is over sensitive, cuz chemo ruins the skin as it does the hair and nails. These hats are cozy and large enough for my 22 inch head. I wear them to sleep in. We keep it cool in the bedroom and I had no idea how much my hair provided insulation. I am sure I will be extremely glad to have them in winter months. It is June and I have two more months of chemo, surgery in September, then 3 months of chemo after that. Since it then takes 3-4 months for hair to regrow, after the last infusion, I will be using these for many months.

This was my summer post chemo hat. It was light weight but kept me from over heating. It didn't pull on any hair like other caps. I had to put the seam in the front if I slept in it and remove the metal charm. It has kept its shape after many washes. It is very loose so it could blow off in strong wind.

Slouchy hats have been popular a long time. I’ve enjoyed wearing them for several years. However, this item is not slouchy. It’s literal a Parachute for the head. There is no shape, it doesn’t make contact with any portion of the head accept the crown. It constantly sides off the back of my head and I spend lots of time looking for it. After several days of wearing it, I hand washed it, laid it flat on a towel to dry. Next day, I discover many tiny pinholes in the fabric. So, if this info does not convince you to select another style and you want to wear a parachute, don’t expect a safe landing! Also, I have to add, it’s nowhere near worth what the seller charges. They do offer other slouch styles that are more secure on the head but there are many sellers who do and charge significantly less for them. This item has been a total disappointment and waste of money. I do not recommend it for style, comfort, durability or value.

This is a nice cozy hat. The fabric is a bit thinner than a t shirt and will be perfect for wearing in the summer. Fits nice and loose, but not too loose, it does stay in place. Exactly what I was looking for wearing in the heat.

The material on this is too thin & not high enough quality. I wasn’t expecting very high quality, but it looks like it’ll tear it at least wear out fast. It’s not the lowest quality ether tho. I bought it to protect my hair from pollen when I go walking & it’s almost too thin for the job. There is also no resistance in the hem so it barely stays on. Luckily I have a lot of hair otherwise it’s probably fall off. It does slouch nicely tho. The issues balance out with it’s good points. It does the job for now, but I’ll be looking for another one tho.

very thin, and loose, which is exactly what I wanted. And actually cotton, unlike another one I just purchase that was literally spandex and fix like a latex swim cap. Not sure it's 100% cotton, it still has a quite more stretch rebound than most 100% cotton, but if it's not 100%, it's a pretty high percentage. Could be the 100% cotton "Natural StretchTM", but hard to say for certain. Seems good for summer, hair loss, slouchy fashion. Definitely not for keeping head warm. Hard to believe this see thru bit of material is $25 but I guess I'd rather pay a higher price and get close to the description, rather than a false label but pay less.

Conforme à la description. Fin et léger il est parfait pour les fins de soirées estivales ou juste pour le style s'il ne fait pas froid. La coupe est bien "slouchy" même sur ma tête d'homme de 59cm de périmètre et permet un port en arrière ou raz les sourcils en restant tombant. Il a une couture dans la longueur qui tombe à l'arrière quand le logo est placé à l'avant et sur le coté, logique... 100% coton, ça fait plaisir à mes cheveux et ça change des polymachinchoses et viscobidules 100% plastique qui font suer du crane (mais ça risque de rétrécir au lavage)!

Tissu agréable pour la nuit mais le bonnet est un peu large.

This is exactly what i was looking for! I have very sensitive ears to wind, even a warm wind. So by wearing this lightweight beanie, not only does it look cute, it protects my ears! It is also beneficial as all the hairdressers are shut down for the pandemic, so it hides lots!! I love this hat and would highly recommend if you are looking for something like this. It is not meant for warmth keep in mind, nice light weight material, not a snug fit.
