The gel gives a cooling effect but is quite watered down Much cheaper than the other brand I used. Seems to help circulation in my legs. A large jar so it will prob last awhile and I would buy again. As for the scent that some are complaining about, I find it has a pleasant menthol scent, not too strong

This vein gel glides on smoothly and doesn't leave any sticky or slimy residue. It does have a strong menthol smell in the jar and when applying, but the fragrance doesn't linger as far as I can tell. The menthol provides a nice cooling effect on heavy feeling legs. Because the gel absorbs completely, I am able to apply my regular moisturizer over it. I have used the Planetary Herbals horse chestnut cream for years and really like it, but the cost has risen substantially and pushed me to look for a new product. This one has a variety of supportive ingredients and appears to be yielding good results. I will reorder.

Cooling gel Seems to have helped the edema in my lower legs. Calms itchy feeling. Only need a small amount. Rubs in well.
