smells and tastes bad
I saw reviews on the smell but figured it can’t be that bad and as long as it tastes good then it’s fine. I opened it and the smell wasn’t too bad but very strong like plastic and fish. I tasted the latiao and it was so gross! to me, it tasted like if you were eating spicy plastic. usually i’m not picky with foods but i won’t be eating the rest. the texture is fine just very oily. wouldn’t recommend

Best quality of Latiao I’ve tried so far
I’ve tried a couple other Latiao brands from my local Oriental stores.. and this one is my favorite! The aroma isn’t too strong and the taste is nice and light with lots of spice! I love the texture, it’s thick and chewy but also airy. Other Latiaos I’ve tried seemed stale and hard to bite off like jerky. If you’ve been stuck on Chinese TikTok snacks, the quality of this Latiao won’t let you down!

Tastes okay
Tasted good, just a bit dryer then other ones, I prefer it a bit more oily and also it was actually very spicy. Overall it was good just needs to be a bit more oily

A let down
I had high hopes that I was going to like these but as soon as I opened the bag, I was surprised by the bad smell. I tried it anyway and although the spiciness is okay, everything else is very off putting. The texture is weird and taste is oily.

Average latiao Asian very spicy
I’m an Asian who grew up eating la tiao, this brand is too spicy not my fav, but tastes like every other la tiao. Most non asians just don’t like the peppercorn smell or taste. Every Latiao on Amazon is 3 stars lmao and nothing is wrong with them

smells awful, super greasy
this was really gross. the flavor was nasty, the texture was gross...i don't think it's supposed to taste like this. i took a bite and the gluten flavor was stuck in the back of my throat for almost the entire day. so disappointing.

Required taste for sure
Very spicy if you eat a lot of them, The Oder does not smell as bad as the other reviews are making it seem. I personally liked the texture it’s kind of like a if you are eating a pool noodles lol but overall I definitely you to try it as I don’t regret this purchase!!
