Easy to Use with Arduino
They work as expected and the motors even work with H-bridges in case you need to use other electronics.

good stuff
I was surprised how much torque these have. All worked good

Would like more documentation but nice torque
I'm used to some different drivers that just use a direction bit and a step pulse for controlling but it was easy to adapt code to using these when the use a standard stepper library in the arduino IDE. I had an ESP32 up and running in a few minutes and some demo code moving 360 degrees and reversing. Everything worked as expected but important to me was the surprising amount of torque you get form these. It's not unlimited as I was able to stop it with my fingers but I really had to grip the shaft to stop it. Combine that with some gearing or belts and you can accomplish a lot. I'm looking to make a small 3d printed robot arm and these seem like they will have enough for it. I would appreciate a little more documentation but at a high level it's a pretty standard setup where you're energizing coils 1-4. There is a jumper on the board that after some tracing I found just provides power to the indicator LEDs so you can pull it to turn them off. Really only useful for education anyway. I've been happy with the set when it has both drivers and motors and just wish it was a 4 pack. Setup was quick and it has a decent amount of torque.

Tiny steppers.
These little motors are a great little addition to my hobby room. Great for small positioning projects. Inexpensive and easy to work with.

Excellent Position Repeatbility, Good Torque, Great Value
We are building a small robotic project using the VKLSVAN 4-Phase 28BYJ-48 DC 5V Stepper Motor + ULN2003 Drive Board in a two-motor configuration. Read on for our test results. -- WORKED FIRST TIME: After connecting up using a breadboard and a Uno R3 as the controller, the motors worked the first time and performed flawlessly at the RPM and direction set in the controller. This was setup using 5V to the motor -- EXCELLENT POSITION REPEATABILITY: The repeatability was excellent over a 24-hour test we did. When continually repeating a cycle of 180-degree rotation clockwise and counterclockwise and with several minute pause between each movement, the motor returned to the precise 180-degree location each time. -- RELIABLE: We allowed the motor to run continuously with the abovementioned movement for 24 hours, and both the motors ran perfectly. -- RUNS ON 12V: It's not supposed to but the motor will run off 12 VDC. We used a 12v wall wort power converter to power the system. The motor gets very very hot when using 12V to the point it will burn skin. It gets to 150F. We ran it for 24 hours like this, and the motors were still going. That's a testament to the reliability of the motor. It should only be run at 5V. -- HAS MOUNTING EARS: Very convenient for my application were the motor's extended mounting ears that allowed me to screw the motors from behind into a piece of wood. -- GOOD QUALITY PC BOARD: The driver board had good labeling and was well-made with good solder joints and no flux residue. -- GOOD TORQUE: I can't quantify the torque, but the motors have good power. -- GREAT VALUE: At $7 for three motors and separate drivers, the VKLSVAN is a great value when price compared to other kits on Amazon.
