Twinings English Breakfast Loose Tea Tins, Pack of 6, 7.05 Ounce Tins, Smooth, Flavourful, Robust Black Tea, Caffeinated

Absolutely my favorite tea! I have been drinking Twinings English Breakfast tea for over 40 years. I've tried many other brands, both cheap and expensive, but always come back to this one. I use a timer on my Apple watch to make sure it steeps for 3 minutes.

This order seems a finer grind than usual. Before, I had no trouble steeping it but with this order, little flakes get through and I have to resift it before drinking. Still delicious though:)

Once upon a time we drank coffee. We bought the best beans, ground our own beans, brewed each cup or pot carefully using good water, until we had the flu. After two weeks of being too sick to function very well, we felt good enough to brew some of the coffee we had missed so much; it tasted like ****. We had grown out of our coffee addiction, but still needed something hot to drink. We reverted to tea, but Lipton was never that good. We discovered this tea (Twinings English Breakfast Tea) and started our day with this kick off. We have tried and enjoy many teas, but this is the one we always come back to and use to start most days. We do not use the English method to brew tea; it takes too long and does not seem to make that big a difference. instead we brew our tea bu using a standard American Coffee Maker (Like a Mr. Coffee). We find that using one to two teaspoons of tea per 10 to 12 (coffee cup measure) cups of water gives a very good brew. Biggest plus is that this is a great price for a great tea that we already enjoy. The closest stores that sell this tea are about 25 to 50 miles away, so it was drive there and then spend 2 to 3 bucks more per can for this size. HUM, drive and pay more or get home delivery at a lower price? Well...

Best breakfast tea with a little honey and milk! Gives me enough caffeine to make it past the midday point without keeping me awake at bedtime

Twinings makes a delightful tea. My favorite is their loose leaf English breakfast blend. That's why I gave it five stars. I purchase it from Amazon because it is hard to find the loose leaf in my area. Unfortunately the last package of six that I ordered was from a horrible blend. Four of the six tins were from the same batch. The tea had a very strong bitter flavor, and tasted like something rotten. I called the company and they kindly sent me one replacement tin. That was before I realized three more tins were bad. Being a food product I understand flavors can be irregular. I'm looking forward to a good couple when I can find some loose leaf English breakfast tea.
