This product is far better than the goopy canned shaving cream. A tiny amount goes on forever and the scent is heavenly. Most importantly, it provides superior lubrication for shaving. Try it and you won’t regret it.

This is one of my favorite shaving creams and usually buy the larger container. I purchase this one and squeeze the shaving cream into a smaller container for travel. Remember to split open the container after no more squeezes out and you will find enough for several more shavings. I use a box cutter and a small spatula to remove. Saves $$$.

I’m a lady. I have extreme sensitive skin. I’ve tried everything. My sweetheart let me try this once and I recalled it went well so I ordered the tube. It smells of natural lavender which a lot of people may not be drawn to. It works. I use it for my legs and under arms because it does not cause dryness and itching. I used a good coin size amount per leg. My issue is this: Please make a flip top type of lid because I used the tube in the shower and it was beyond slick and difficult to use in shower and one could seriously bust some arse if the product gets on the floor too long. Especially if it comes out the tube because it’s too difficult to put the lid back on quickly. A different type of lid would be a lot less potentially hazardous, but if you are sensitive skinned this may be worthwhile for you.

I've tried a ton of shaving creams, ranging from regret inducing impulse buys at my neighborhood big-box pharmacy to the more esoteric brands (Kiehl's, Taylor, Proraso, Jack Black, Anthony, some shaving oil thing, etc.), and this product just rocks. The scent is mild and pleasant, and the shave is very close but extremely comfortable (I have fairly coarse facial hair that requires a daily shave). After a number of trials that left me with a shower shelf full of half-used shave creams, and then coming back to The Art of Shaving cream, I don't even know why I felt compelled to try other brands - I don't think I'll be making that mistake again. I don't like that the brand has been recently acquired by Proctor & Gamble and hope their corporate "wisdom" doesn't screw up a fantastic product to make a few more bucks. As it is, it's a bit pricey, but well worth it.

This really is the best men's shaving cream out there, I recommend it to everyone!

The Lavender Art of Shaving provides a wonderful close shave. I have used it for years and it's been consistently good.
