Great speakers, stands are junk
These speakers are really nice, super loud I only need to tune them about half volume with my system, and in some venues I DJ, I turn them down to about a quarter volume and they are great. I have used them outside direct sunlight on a 93 degree day for about 5 hours and they did awesome, althought at the peak of the day they did get pretty hot. The built-in amp does not have a vent on the back, unless they vent through the front some how I am not sure. But I have never had an issue at all with these.I do have an issue with the stands they come with. I reached out to the seller to try and get another set sent out but they informed me that they only deal with issues within 30 days. Absolute junk, they do work, I have used them several times, but the fitment is loose when the speakers are mounted, sometimes they want to vibrate left or right so I use a strip of tape to keep it snug. The tightening knob for the tripod legs stripped after the second use. They still work, but they are a major pain to fold up and fold out because the bolt stripped about halfway through tightening so its stuck that way for now. I will be getting another set of stands and will keep these for my backup sidefill speakers.Summary: Speakers are worth every penny, it's nice they come with cables, but I think instead of the junk stands I would have liked a set of good speaker covers.

Mackie Thump 15A : (Seller: Kellards)
The signal from my Laptop is flat (volume on the laptop is set to 90%) > the input from the laptop to the Yamaha MG10 the high is set to +1 (mid, and low are set to 0) and the gain on the ch is set to 8 (or -2) > The master output (stereo level) signal for the Yamaha was adjusted so the signal never goes into yellow (always in the green) > Then I powered up the Mackie 15a and set the input gain on ch 1 to 10 O'clock and the Main gain to 10 O'clock (you can adjust to your taste - just keep it below unity for best performance).I also run my iPad and iPhone - on the iPhone and iPad I changed the EQ setting to Loudness and limited the max volume to 90% > Yamaha MG10 high, mid, and low set to 0, and ch gain set to -2 > on the Yamaha MG10 the master or stereo level was adjusted so the signal is always in the green > ch 1 on the Mackie set to 9 O'clock and Main gain set to 10 O'clock (you can play around with the gain settings - its better to have loud and clean vs. just loud)Results : the highs, mids, and lows are in harmony - the amp gets warm (normal for 4 hours of non stop music). I purchased the Mackie Thumps from Kellards. They have great customer service, and very responsive.

Good overall volume, not as much bass as hoped for
Good overall sound and volume attainment. I was hoping for more bass for the kick drum- a tradeoff between versatility and "thump" that you would get from a sub woofer.

Very happy with the Thunp 15A speakers
Very clear signal amd plenty loud. They are a tad bass heavy on the normal EQ setting, but add a sub and put the speakers in Sub mode and they're amazing. My main critique would be to opt for a 3 or even a 2 band EQ to allow for more customized sound. Most audio folks that wo7ld own these know enough about sound to manage without the preset EQ. But the price and value on this pair can't be beat. Seller shipped fast!

Impressive sound and quality
These speakers are powered and sound amazing. The bass is quite unbelievable. I have had many systems and was a sound tech for more then one club and bar. I have used QSC and EV to Mackie and all types of speakers these are remarkable. The shear loudness was over all impressive. They come as described in a pair. The speaker stands are okay middle grade. The cables were decent as well. This system is very good for the price. I’m very impressed. I can recommend this product. Super fast shipping as well.

These are the crème de la crème. 110% Quality
These speakers sound great. I haven't needed them for anything event related due to the pandemic but I've no doubt that they will live up to their reputation. The bass is great. I don't know what I was picturing but it wasn't quite what I was picturing, which could've been unrealistic as it is. At 1300 W of power in each speaker, these are definitely the best for a first set of speakers. Actually, novice or experienced, these speakers will deliver TOP NOTCH performance.

Speakers Rock Stands Suck
The shipping was great it all arrived undamaged. Initially I was disappointed in the sound of the bass.. it just wasn't there. But after about a month of cranking the volume the 15s broke in nicely and it thumps! My only complaint is the speaker stands they came with are trash, one is slightly tweaked and is a bitch to fold and unfold. They also don't fit the speakers and are wobbly as hell... and no... it did not come with adapters. But the speakers themselves are amazingly powerful especially considering how light weight they are.

Mackie thump 15 pair awesome
These are one of the best music equipment purchases i have ever made the sound quality is in my opinion unmatched in the price range they are very clear and punchy and loud i have never even close to turned them up all the way and have used them for several shows running vocals guitar and drums through them even an outside gig we had them like half way and it was plenty they are pretty light well built and basically have made my stereo useless because i only want to here music on them now
