You’re paying for quality, and you can’t go wrong with an Osprey. This is not their most expensive backpack, but you’re also not sacrificing anything with this model in my opinion. I bought the women’s model, and the weight, balance, and comfort are great. The separate sleeping bag compartment is adjustable and really practical. The top compartment is a bit hard to access, but not a dealbreaker. If your hiking poles are fully collapsible they can fit in the side pockets. An all around good product. On season two of using this pack and I absolutely love it. I spent plenty of hiking / climbing seasons with the wrong sized bag. I'm 5'4" 130 lbsand got this size and it's perfectly comfortable on a loooong hike. It's stores things neatly which is a major plus because I hate having to hang stuff on the outside of my packSuper breathable back which has been a game changer. Great product for its price point.

Great quality great price! Very sturdy. I have used on a backpack four nights 25-30 pounds. No problem. no damage. I love that you can adjust the height.

I got fitted with an osprey at REI then I purchased this on Amazon. The functionality of the bag is great. I did a 13 mile hike with 35lb in this pack and I struggled with the comfort of it the last 7 miles. Wasn't comfortable around the hips, it was painful. I like osprey but I wish I could return this for an alternate bag.
