OK, before you ask, "You bought a costume for your dog for Talk Like a Pirate Day?!" Yes, I did. It's 2020, the world is literally on fire, and we all seriously just need to smile, so I spent $11 on a costume for my dog to send a few smiles out into the world.This costume is great! Exactly as described and fit well. My pup is about 15 lbs Lhasa and the Medium was perfect for her. The hat was a little big, but It's fine.Some other reviews posted pictures of the costume next to their animals claiming it was too small I don't think they realized it only goes on the front of the body, not around the entire body. ONLY THE FRONT TWO LEGS GO IN THE COSTUME.Anyway, super great costume!

I laughed for five minutes straight watching my Cocker Spaniel prance around in this costume! It is adorable. It is reasonably well-made, a few loose strings and a rough edge here and there, but for the price, I'm not complaining. Easy on and easy off.I think the sizing might run a tad small, though. My Cocker Spaniel weighs 40 lbs, I don't view a 40 lb dog as a large breed. I ordered a size large--and so glad I did. It is a perfect fit.I would order this brand of dog costume again.FYI, when I put it on him, he was grumpy and he said, "Grrrrrr, rrrrrrrrrrr, arrrrrrr, aaaaarghhhh." ;-)

Came pretty wrinkled, but it’s cute. I purchased a small for our little dog and he was having no part of my shenanigans. He refused to move. It did t stay up to good in the shoulders but it could have also been my dog and hunching because he was not happy, and he is typically a spit fire.

We had a 14-year-old one-eyed 6-lb Schnauzer that was quickly heading toward the Rainbow Bridge. I bought this outfit early to get a photo of him in it (fearing he wouldn't last till Halloween). It was the perfect photo op.--It came folded in a tiny box. Perfect for gift giving!--It was super easy to put on him (no, he was not thrilled! haha). I didn't see anything that would make my dog feel uncomfortable.--There was nothing to adjust; it fit great from the start. But it seemed to be easily adaptable for different-shaped dogs.--I felt like this little outfit was good enough quality to last many years.--Everyone who saw my dog in this costume LOVED it. It was SO SO fun. I only wish it had come with an eye patch.

Size bigger than described. U comfortable hat, does not stay in place, slides back.

It was way too small. I measured my Yorkie and he was just a tad smaller than what their size said would fit an extra small. He is only four and a half poundsIt is way smaller than the size they say it's going to be. I was very disappointed I was taking him with me to enter contest tonight. I can't now, because the outfit is so small.The hat did fit and I like the way it was made. That is why I'm giving it one star.

I don't even know where to start. This costume is a nightmare and has been a major source of suffering for my family for months now. We bought this, thinking it would be great for our little (43lbs) goldendoodle. We put it on him and we immediately saw a change in our dog! He uses the most TERRIBLE language now. All he talks about is murdering and pillaging coastal cities and sings "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!" 24/7. He's constantly swinging his hook around! I've lost two fingers this week! He's always drunk, has women in his bed and frankly his hygiene is atrocious. If it wasn't for the amount of oranges he eats, I'm sure he would have scurvy. I just don't know what to do. He built a tiny boat and sits in the bathtub every night drinking and shooting this tiny cannon at the bathroom tile-- IT'S RUINED! It's a downward spiral, and I don't think there is anything I can do to help him, as I can barely understand him anymore. This morning for just before breakfast he said "Avast ye, son of a biscuit eater! I be three sheets to th'wind 'n clear out me dungbie 'n th'head afor I put th' black spot on that thar hornswaggle who'l dance the hempen jig abaft, squall up som cackle fruit and be off with ye!" What on earth are we going to do? We're past the date to return this costume and he keeps pointing his "blunderbuss" at me. I think I'm going to move out.

This is amazing ! My cockapoo looked absolutely fantastic in this, he got lots of attention and lots of laughs and he didn’t seem uncomfortable or bothered by it! Perfect fit too!
