There are several options for wearing it (over the shoulder, around the waist or using the waist clips to clip it onto your belt/waistband) and I've been wearing it around my waist. The belt is sturdy and adjustable, and it also fits my husband, who has a 40" waist. I like the fact that I can fit all my dog walking bits and pieces into it (ie treats, a roll of poo bags, clicker) as well as my mobile phone and keys into the pockets and everything is in the same place, My days of bulging pockets have ended! I've not used the collapsible water/feeding bowl though but it's a nice extra.
