What is the citric acid derived from? Corn?

The citric acid that is used in our Dr. Formulated Whole Food Magnesium is sourced from Non-GMO fermented Sugar Cane and is used in an extremely minute amount. Hope this clarifies. In Health, Erin M. Garden of Life

How is this a whole food supplement when synthetic magnesium is blended with brown rice. It's still synthetic.

Our Dr. Formulated Whole Food Magnesium Powder provides a proprietary blend of ionic magnesium and Organic Brown Rice Protein Magnesium Chelate. Typical Magnesium supplements (Magnesium Glycinate, Citrate, etc.) are bound to an isolated amino acid molecule. Our Dr. Formulated Magnesium is bound to whole protein, which makes it elemental Magnesium, and more bio-available. This product is also Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Vegan, Certified Guten Free and Kosher. I hope this helps. In Health, Erin M. Garden of Life

Does it contain calcium as well as magnesium?

Our Dr. Formulated Whole Food Magnesium provides 350mg of Magnesium in a whole food form, along with a Dr. Formulated Probiotic Blend. This product does not contain Calcium. I hope this helps. In Health, Erin M. Garden of Life

Is this magnesium suitable for children?

Dr. Formulated Whole Food Magnesium is labeled as followed: Use with children under supervision after consultation with your child's healthcare professional. We recommend consulting your child's pediatrician or healthcare practitioner regarding this and ALL supplement use, as they are best able to advise you. Take care, Erin M. Garden of Life
