My Carry Potty - Travel Potty, Award-Winning Portable Toddler Toilet Seat for Kids to Take Everywhere (Dino)

So I am very delayed in writing a review for this product as I purchased it over a year go, however I came across it whilst reviewing another item and had to leave one as it is FANTASTIC! When I first saw this potty, I was sceptical. Mainly because of the price, it seemed VERY expensive for a potty. However, after a few trips out with a 'normal' potty whilst potty training we quickly realised we needed a portable travel potty, especially for longer car journeys to see family, so we invested in this. My son chose the dinosaur (although he calls it a dragon) as I hoped if he chose it he would be more interested in using it. Best purchase ever! We take this potty everywhere, even now over a year later (although quite often I carry it around and he doesn't even use it! Thank god for pushchairs). Going to the zoo, grab the potty. Off to the park, don't forget the potty. Son can do his business when out and about, and it seals shut, can be picked upright and doesn't leak as you carry it around. You do have to press down quite hard to seal it properly (as my father in law found out the hard way), but once you hear that 'click' you know it's safe to pick up and carry until you can find a safe and sensible place to dispose of it. Very easy to clean, we give it a quick wipe out with wet wipes or loo roll when he's done a wee and a proper disinfect with antibacterial wipes when a number two make an appearance. Unfortunately it is now getting too small for my 3year old (he is a giant though! Think more 5 year old in size) However I know that I will be getting it out again in a couple of years when it comes to potty training the baby. Would definitely recommend. Yes it is pricy, but it is worth it!

We have found this to be an absolute essential whilst potty training and it comes everywhere with us! The potty itself is really sturdy and quite deep so is a good size. It also comes with a fully lockable lid and carry handle. At first the lid can be quite tough to open but I think this is because it provides such a solid seal to hold anything it is carrying inside until you’re able to make it somewhere where it can be emptied. So far we have used it on many trips and it’s never leaked! Overall I’d recommend this for anyone potty training as it is so useful for leaving the house especially during the early days of the potty training journey.

Honestly it is one of those must have products that every parent should have. I bought it when I was still using a buggy for my daughter and it was so convenient to bring it with us wherever we went. It’s very lightweight, It doesn’t look like a regular ‘potty’ and it doesn’t leak so you can have that peace of mind that there won’t be any leakage accident on the go. Now I keep it in my car and it is so easy and convenient to use anytime needed. You can use it with a single use/disposable potty liners or without it, as it’s quite easy to clean afterwards. There’s no smell even when you don’t clean it straight away. Overall it’s a great product and I would recommend it to everyone as soon as you start potty training your child 🙂

Unlike some portable potties that require disposable liners, this one is self-contained, which is both eco-friendly and cost-effective in the long run. Negatives: 1. While it’s portable, it might be a bit small for larger toddlers or older children. My child is on the taller side, and though it works, I can see that we’ll outgrow it sooner than I expected. 2. The design is easy to clean, but because it’s self-contained, you have to deal with the contents directly, which can be a little unpleasant, especially when out in public without easy access to cleaning supplies. 3. It’s a bit more expensive compared to other travel potties. While the quality is great, the higher price might be a consideration for parents on a budget, especially since you might need to upgrade to a bigger size later on. Conclusion: Overall, it is an excellent solution for potty training on the go. It combines convenience, quality, and child-friendly design, making it easier for both parents and toddlers to tackle potty training outside the home. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like size and cleaning challenges, its portability and leak-proof design make it a worthwhile investment. If you're looking for a durable, fun, and functional travel potty, this one is a solid choice.

This potty is brilliant, and can be taken anywhere

My daughter picked out what potty she wanted when we were potty training. Lovely design and really handy to take out and about.

I bought this carry potty for my daughter after thinking I could just cart her normal potty in the car and around with us - I ran into 2 problems, 1. It didn’t fit under the pram and 2. I couldn’t dispose of the waste hygienically (don’t do what I did - this carry potty has saved my life). My daughter’s 23 months old and loved it straight away, nicknaming it her “penguin potty”, she prefers it over her house potty but understood quickly it was for “on the go wee wees” and loves to show it off😂 I’ve sealed it multiple times with wee wees in and it has never been anything but great, it is a bit hard for her to get off of and if she tries herself there is a very real risk it might tip over but this isn’t an issue as I mainly use it in the car anyway! I bleach it at the end of each day (make sure you dry properly) and it looks good as new every time. Would 100% recommend this to anybody potty training and who may not have thought about the next steps once you’ve done “in house” training and needing to go out and about.

I am incredibly impressed with this potty. We took it on a long walk in the woods and, true to its word, it didn't leak a single drop in the car on the way back. Because it looks like a little dinosaur suitcase, my son actually wants to carry it himself, which has given him so much confidence with potty training. It’s a five-star, high-quality bit of kit that has made our lives ten times easier. Properly chuffed!

This was a gift for a friend but we had bought one years ago for our first. This is a serious must have for families. It makes potty training easy while on the go. We travel with it too as it can be a life saver when you aren’t in a familiar place and need a toilet. Our oldest still also uses as again when in a pinch, this is great to have in our car. The seal is amazing too. We have accidentally left it full of poo for a few days and didn’t even realize as the scent never came through. Best invention ever!
