Unreliable, corrupted all my RAW pictures
I don't know what else to give this drive if not one start, I would give it zero. It has ONE job: keep our back up files. I purchased it last year (Feb 2025), uploaded all my files, including my raw camera files from my Canon (CR2 format). I put it away and now after a year I took it out to add my 2025 files, ALL the CR2 files I click, get corrupted in front of my eyes. I thought it may be my Mac, so I connected it to my Window laptop, SAME behavior. Means, that it does not fullfill its basic and ONLY job: keep my files. I work in IT and know the value of redundancy so I have other drives with most of the info, but it concerns how unrealiable this drive is. I will try to avoid this brand in the future.

I needed to archive a large set of files and didn't care about the speed as much as storage space. This drive met my expectations for large storage space at a reasonable price.

Quiet and reliable HDD
I bought this hard drive to replace a SeaGate HDD i recently purchased that has started to fail for unknown reasons. This WD HDD if very quiet, and comes with a type-c adapter making it extremely fast when placing files onto it. Very glad with my purchase.

Muy buen producto. Lo uso para copias de seguridad en un equipo servidor que está funcionando 24x7. Se puede configurar para que se detenga si no se usa y arranca a demanda. De esta forma alargas la vida útil. La velocidad de lectura/ escritura es muy buena.
