Nice Chunks of Turkey UPDATED 12/2/2014
I really enjoy this product. Enough turkey breast for 4 good-size servings in the 14.5 ozs. can (I eat more than 2 ozs. at a time ;). Meat was in very large chunks and has the consistency of a pot roast. Moist. Tender. Cooked through. Taste and smells like turkey. Not really sliceable, like a roasted bird. I eat this by itself on a plate, mixed-in dressing/stuffing, piled-on mashed potatoes, SOS, in Shepard's Pie, Enchiladas, Taco's...the list will go on. If I hadn't have already made my Original Idahoan Mashed Potatoes , I would have used the salty released broth for them, next time... As someone who likes turkey, I ordered it again for my Holiday Dinner in December. Made my Thanksgiving Dinner very wonderful. Blessings to Amazon for helping those unable to reach a grocery store to still be able to enjoy Holiday fixings. Made a wonderful plate from items Amazon shipped to me. I really like that Keystone Meats actually stamps the 'use by date code' into the bottom of the can. For those that believe this smells like canned Tuna, realize that is probably because they are both cooked in the can. You are probably use to the turkey skin putting out a different aroma but this does smell and taste like turkey breast. Keystone Meats All Natural Canned Chicken has basically the same type smell, but it tastes like stewed chicken. I have found no glob of fat in the cans I have opened. UPDATE: As an FYI...Keystone Meats has redone their RDA label. The corrected one is shown on the 28 ozs. can information. Instead of a 3 ozs. serving, the label now reads 2 ozs. serving (same on all their canned meats). Approximately 8 (not 7.5) servings, instead of 5 servings.

Delicious but salty
Delicious but a bit salty. I like salty but this may adversely affect some who are sensitive. I added this to a low salt broth for a quick soup.

Nice product for long-term food storage
Canned turkey like this is good to store for emergencies or quick on-the-go cooking, but you have to accept the fact that the taste is not as intense as fresh turkey and the texture isn't the same either. Still, a good choice for long-term emergency food stocks because the price is lower than other comparable products and the quality is just as good. We found it costing less at Walmart online, but we plan to keep adding to our stocks wherever we get the lowest price. Good in casseroles, mixed with mac-and-cheese or used to make a turkey salad spread for sandwiches. We've also tried it mixed with chopped boiled cabbage and that worked too. Good product.

Dry canned turkey with nutritional label that cannot be correct.
Well, with an ingredients list that includes only turkey and salt, I expected canned turkey and salt, which is what this tastes like. The turkey is dry, like canned meat often is, because I assume the high temperatures used in the canning process drives the moisture out of the meat itself and into the surrounding liquid. So, par for the course. The interesting thing is that the nutritional label is messed up. The label says there are 8 servings of 2 oz per container (total 16 ounces per container), but the container says 14.5 ounces. The nutritional label cannot possibly be true, and once the water is poured off there are fewer than eight 2 oz servings. (I should have done a weighing before and after I poured off the water to see the weight of the actual turkey in the can, but sadly I didn't think of that until too late.) So, if anyone wants a minimalist canned turkey, this is it. To me it's obviously something to use in a dish that required turkey, and not something to eat out of the can. And, I've never seen a messed up nutritional label like this.
