Great first rc plane for anyone!
I dont normally do reviews - good or bad - but, I bought this for my 12yr old boy's birthday and he loved it so much that he insisted I write a review. For the first flight, I took him to an empty gym to avoid issues with wind. I lost count of how many times that little plane slammed into concrete walls and nose dived into the hard gym floor. I was very impressed how little damage it took! We, of course, destroyed 1 of the 3 included propellers but the broken and taped propeller kept working just fine. The next day he flew it around the yard getting the hang of it and by day 3 he was practicing take offs, landings, touch-n-goes, and low slow fly-bys. The selectable gyro stabilization in this plane makes it a great entry into rc airplanes for any age. It's tough and inexpensive enough to get you through the learning curve and sturdy enough to be super fun after mastering the controls. Highly recommended!

Great RC Plane!
This RC plane is perfect for a beginner flyer. The control surfaces move and perform very well in flight for responsive maneuvering. The plane is also very durable and has withstood many cartwheeled landings. Small dabs of hot glue have worked well for minor repairs. I would highly recommend for an entry-level RC plane.

Best Backyard Flyer So Far..
..and the price is right. I have been flying 1s 2-channels, but wanting to be able to practice with 4 channels. Good flight times on the supplied batteries, plane seems quite crash-tolerant so far - as in surviving 3 lawn-dart landings into pavement. Not mounting the wheels is a good idea if it will be flown into trees much - because it is less likely to get hung up on the small branches. The supplied controller is decent - although I chose to bind it to my RadioMaster TX16s using the V761 protocol. Only gripe is the props: they need to be red or orange to facilitate recovery in tall grass because the nature of the prop saver is that the prop completely detaches from the plane when the prop saver does it's thing. The aftermarket props have red hubs, but the supplied props were all black - as in soon lost... And, finally, a BNF version would be nice. I just had my second flyaway (as in letting it fly behind me out of sight and cutting the power to have to preseumably land in a plane-eating tree never to be seen again). So I have two (2) controllers already in addition to my TX16s and it seems wasteful to order a third RTF setup.

Fun and easy to use—even for beginners
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got this for my nephew and he absolutely loved it! It’s lightweight, durable, and surprisingly easy to fly. We took it to the park and everyone was watching it go. Definitely a fun purchase for kids (and adults too)!

Spend the money for a Hobbyzone cub instead
Experienced flyer, plane was fantastic for first few flights then the board must have died because the motor won’t turn any more. No help from seller item is dead now after only a few flights. Buy the Hobbyzone one don’t waste your money on this.

Lackluster performance but good quality for 100 bucks.
This is a funny little plane but what is lacking is the aileron control surface. Its just not big enough to get good reaction out of this plane, especially at slower speeds. Yeah you have the rudder to make turns, but good aileron reaction makes for a more enjoyable aerobatic experience. Does not do great in the in. Highly recommend to only fly when its dead calm. Build quality: Quality is what was expected with less than impressive landing gear quality. Its a durable plane though.

Came broken but can tell that the value there.
I literally just received it and the tail was slight cracked and I guess it was enough to bend the tail rudder shaft in enough go it would not work. Don't know if it happened in transit or if it was dropped while packaging since the shipping and product boxes were fine. That said I did power it on to try the operation and it was pretty good out the box, everything worked great it had lots of power for the weight and it was pretty good value for the money. The controls were easy to use. Unfortunately with a broken rudder I could not fly it but all in all good value for the price. Returning it but will likely by another once the price drops under $100 again.

Easy to fly, beginner plane
This is a great beginner plane that teaches you how to start flying RC planes. It’s not very big but flys great. Has an acrobat mode as well! Great gift, or starter if you want to get into the hobby.
