Fantastic Analysis
Great book! Bought this after listening to an interview with the author on the New Books Network podcast. Just starting the first chapter and I can't wait to read more.

Good Book for LA skateboarder
This was a gift for my son who lives in LA. He spent a lot of time reading the book over the holidays & commented many times how good it was.

Good Book on Skateboarding
I find skateboarding fascinating and enjoy watching people do it. I chose this book based on the synopsis and was not disappointed. It was amazing to see how society looks at skateboarding and the people who do it. Very in-depth book on various aspects of skateboarding. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is curious about this sport. Thanks to Netgalley, the publsiher and the author for the ARC of this book.

Inaccurate
Riddled with inaccuracies. The author seems to know very little about skateboarding. This book is primarily a love letter to author and his brother. Not an academic book and it should not have been published by NYU Press.
