I had so much fun building this Piranha Plant set. LEGO really nailed the design; it looks fantastic on display and fits perfectly with my other Nintendo sets (though it's currently hanging out with Donkey Kong instead of Mario, and sometimes it winds up in my Lego botanicals displays because it does what it wants). The colors are vibrant, the details are spot-on, and the finished piece has so much personality. I love that it's poseable and that the mouth opens, which makes it feel more interactive than a typical display build. The quality is wonderful. I had no missing parts, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and everything fit together smoothly. It feels sturdy and solid once assembled, with good stability for display. This is a great value for the money if you enjoy LEGO or Nintendo-themed sets (or botanicals!). The durability is what you'd expect from LEGO - solid and well thought out - and the overall build experience is relaxing and really enjoyable.

What a great set. It's clear and concise to put together. Nothing feels loose or wonky when it's done. I love the details it incorporates like the button on the back that holds Mario coins. All the pieces were accounted for, it's brightly colored, and feels very sturdy. Easily a 10/10 set.

The first Lego set I ever built and it was awesome, took me a day to complete but it looks so cool and was a lot of fun to put together. Great piece of home decor and it’s cool that it does the coin disposal

Lego sets are great for kids and adults. Sent this to my son at college to make him smile. It was a small set and it was a very quick build - I wanted him to have some fun but get back to his studies! Very cute for Super Mario fans with lots of detail as usual for Lego.

If I remember right, this is actually the first, or one of the first Super Mario themed LEGO sets that was finally NOT tied to LEGO's Super Mario game thing. No doubt everyone is still dying for some stand alone Super Mario sets that would have official Super Mario minifigures though, lol... But anyway, this is a great little set that any Super Mario fan would love to have. At least, I think so. It's not too challenging and not super simple either. However, my favorite thing about it is how well it works as a display piece. Anyway, I can't really think of much else to say about the Super Mario Piranha Plant that hasn't already been said. And so, I give it a score of 5... out of, 5.

Came with all the pieces and was a fun build

This is cute and was a gift for my Nintendo obsessed teen. It is rather small for the price, however the joy of finding it made the price worthwhile. It was easy to assemble and is now proudly displayed on my teen's Lego/videogame themed shelves.

Amazing plant. I don’t even have to feed or watch it. Best pet plant ever.

My son is only 11 and autistic, he’s a Lego pro, this set is for older children or young adults but he loved the challenge and completed it within 1.5 hours, looks good, last bit was fiddly trying to attach the head to the stalk. Well worth the price
