The best work boots I've ever had!
Read me before you see the photos! So the pictures I have taken are showing what these Boots looked like after I had put them through hell for nine months. I carry 25kg bags of potatoes from a lorry into chip shops, 400 bags a day. I don't want to sound like the jet2 advert, but that's 10 tons. 10 tons a day five days a week in the rain and the sun. These boots are absolutely amazing I can't rate them enough. Value for money over the last nine months it works out to be around 11 pounds something a month. I can't remember if they are advertised as waterproof but I've never had wet feet through the British torrential rain, so I guess they are. There is a metal sheet between the sole and the insole which has saved me a few times when nails or screws are sticking up through pallets. They weigh less than I expected and I have definitely had heavier work boots before with steel toe caps but they feel very rugged when on. The BOA no lace system is absolutely amazing I cannot fault it at all. They are so easy to slip on in the morning and very very simple to take off after a hard day's work. The boots must be very breathable, I dont ever get sweaty feet or smelly socks considering the amount of time I spend on my feet and the amount of pressure and weight that I am putting on them. The anti-slip comes into itself when I enter a greasy, titled floor chip shop, pub, restaurant, Chinese, whatever. You will get through it even if it's been raining outside and my boots are wet and the floor has a little bit of grease on it I am perfectly confident to walk across with two bags on my shoulder that's 50 kilograms. So with my weight and the two bags we're talking 22 1/2 stone being transmitted onto these Boots. That brings me to the pictures, they are not really that bad considering I've had them for nine months and I've carried 400 bags a day five days a week for the last eight months. And for that reason and the BOA reason and the anti-slip sole, I am buying another pair. I don't have pictures of the boots when they were new but if you want to see what they look like when they were new going buy some you wont regret it!

Excellent Work Boots
I have Boa lace up hiking boots, which I have loved since getting them. I have tried other Boa lace work boots, but as I have a wide fitting I find the toecaps tend to rub. No such problems with these. They are generously sized and suggest they can accommodate the widest of feet. They make life so easy to undo and slip off making it perfect when you have to work in areas where going inside in muddy work boots is frowned up. They are well padded, extremely comfortable and after wearing them all day you wouldn’t know you’d been in work boots. They offer great protection and are high enough to support the ankle, which is especially useful when working on uneven ground. As for how long they will last I can’t comment as I haven’t had them long enough, but Dewalt usually provide decent kit. In my view I can highly recommend these work boots.

This boot won't last
Brought boots in May and was pleased, very comfortable from the start. But thsts the only good point. They are now unusable, all the stitching has started to come undone in lots of different places. The boots leather is still in excellent condition but barley held together because of the poor stitching material/quality. The boa laces seem like an excellent idea until the clasp pops off and won't re ait in its original position. The plastic coating on the wire has also started to fall away, I sure it would only be a matter of time before thst snaps to. I definitely would not buy theses boots again. Less than 6 months life span. Very poor from dewalt especially for the price.

The boots you really need for dirty work
I'm just old enough to have experienced the joy of disc tightening in the 90's, dewalt have taken that childhood joy and brought it back to the work site. No longer do you have to tie and untie, in my case, clay and mud covered laces, simply pull the toggle to release locking mechanism, pull tongue forward and your foot is free. Press the toggle back in, and away you go twisting the toggle to tighten the boot to desired amount. So good, you'll need two pairs, so you can always keep a set clean and good for everyday civvie stuff.

Definitely worth considering
Been using these for the last month, good however some stitching has came loose - could be where they’ve tied the stitch or frayed, does not effect the durability yet- regardless £100 boots, I expect better. A tad in the heavy side but much better ankle support than past boots. I recommend getting some sole cushions but that personal preference. If the boa system breaks then a whole new replacement can be bought for £8, perhaps cheaper.

Sturdy with easy boa lace system
Finally a work boot with boa closure. I am used to wearing boots a little loose (not the safest I know!), and these are an easy in and out boot due to the boa lace system. This is a tried and tested method and has always worked well on my cycling and snowboarding gear. When I saw the design I immediately bought the boot. I take a UK size 8 and ordered this size and it fits comfortably. A relatively high boot, well padded with all the safety features you would expect. For me the single biggest advantage is the easy in and out. The perfect work boot!!!

Comfortable lightweight boots. But had issues with stitching.
Lightweight pair of work boots, I was a big fan of the BOA lacing system and sizing/fit. The boots were comfortable to wear in cold weather compared to steel toe capped boots and offered a good level of water resistance. I did have a problem with the stitching on the boots coming apart at the sides and toe shortly after the warranty period expired, which wasn't great considering the higher price point compared to some Dewalt boots, which was a shame because these really are comfortable and provide a nice level of ankle support. Dewalt kindly honoured the warranty in my case. Probably the most comfortable pair of work boots I've owned in terms of fit and weight, but I did not consider a second purchase due to the manufacturing issue I had, instead opting for another Dewalt boot.
