its super good just dont shake super hard when replacing it and if you leave it out in the cap a lot of ink spills out so be careful

Love this pen but after a year of use I needed to replace the nib just to font the manufacturer glued the black channel into the brass section so I can’t replace it. Now I can’t use the pen and will have to buy another one.

I bought this pen in early 2024. I've been using it off and on for that entire period. I am a truck driver and prefer pens with clips, and this pen doesn't have one of those, unfortunately. However, with that said, I LOVE how this pen writes. I have a few TWSBI Eco's and a TWSBI Vac700r and this is my preferred writer. I love the ink capacity of the TWSBI's, but I can use this pen for a prolonged period of time and still enjoy writing. It claims this pen is a "fine" nib, but it writes more like a medium nib. It's juicy and lays down a solid line, as long as you don't turn the pen in a way that the nib isn't making solid connection to the paper. This was one of my first fountain pens. This is one of my favorite fountain pens to date. Great value. The tapered wood feels nice in the hand. The brass cap and grip section has what I can call micro-texture that gives solid grip for those prolonged writing sessions. All in all, it's a lovely pen and it's one I keep comparing the fancier, name branded pens too. EDIT: Literally the day I wrote this review, the pen quit working. The ink wouldn’t flow using the included converter and I don’t like using plain bore or black inks. I had it inked with a green ink, but it wouldn’t flow unless I manipulated the converter itself. For that reason, I’m taking this from the previous 5 star review down to a one…

I purchased this for personal use. I enjoy using it. However, I with the ink cartridges had been more clearly marked.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I truly wanted to like this pen. The brass barrel and wood are beautiful. But that's where my enjoyment ends. WHEN the pen writes it has a decent ink flow almost bordering on wet, which could suit my fast writing style. I've spent more time trying to get it to write than being able to write with it. Multiple cartridges and cleanings all with the same results. Writes for about the length of a short sentence and then nothing. Save your money. You're better off grabbing a Hong Dian Forest if you want a cheap but solid fountain pen.

The whole appearance of the pen is beautiful and the colouring of the wooden barrel enhances this along with the fine nib ..smooth movement on the paper Price for price as good as many far more expensive. Balence for some may be a little heavy but for myself it is perfect !! Treat yourself to a fine writing implement !!

Pluma de mala calidad… Lo intuía por el precio, pero me dejé llevar por las reseñas. Está bien para gente que quiera empezar con este tipo de productos, para ir familiarizándose, pero si no es tu caso no tengas miedo en gastar algo más de dinero.
