Review: A well-built Yamaha with a decent sound - This guitar is well-built with a decent sound - bright highs and moderate lows. The finish is nice, and I especially like the wooden edging on the body, which gives it the feel of a higher-end instrument. The neck is thin and smooth, and it seems they’ve improved the finish compared to A-series models from 5-6 years ago. The fretboard is comfortable to play, though some of the fret edges are a bit sharp. It’s worth noting that while the guitar comes with a sound hole cover and Elixir strings, there was no truss rod key included. Action is a bit high, so you may want to lower the bridge.

Wonderful sound and I love the look. Action was great right out of the box. Put some medium elixirs on and I am good to go. Shopped around a lot for this one. Sleeper guitar for sure.
