Toaster, Defrost & Reheat, Stainless Steel, 4 Extra-Wide Slots

While it's just a toaster, it's a very nice one. I bought it for the retro look, and because it matches my other stainless steel appliances, and it looks quite nice left on the ccountertop. The bread slice holes could be a smidge wider to accommodate hamburger buns, but otherwise it's perfect. The toaster is solid! It's a nice weight, it feels like a higher quality appliance as compared to the cheaper toasters I've had, and I like that the rubber feet really do their job; this toaster won't slide around. It's got multiple settings (bagel, defrost, reheat) and the one for bagels toasts more slowly so the outside of your bagel won't burn before it gets warmed. The reheat feature works similarly. A cancel button if you need it will pop your bread up, and the darkness knobs are very sensitive. Whatever your toast color preference, you can get it with this toaster. Finally, the clean out for this toaster is a breeze with slide out trays (see photo) that come all the way out with no bothersome clips to fuss with, and can be cleaned. All in all, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Already have used it multiple times and it has toasted bread, English muffins, and waffles to your perfection. This toaster is solidly built love the stainless steel, classic look, and being that it’s not digital is key, because they tend to fail out after a couple years. Toaster is slightly larger than your typical four slotted toaster. So make sure that you have room for this if you’re stowing it away in a cabinet. The size does matter if you have a small kitchen. Some mainly put it on the countertop where others put it away. Luckily, we have the room, but I had to move and shift some things around the cabinet in order to stow it away properly. Heats up quick, does a phenomenal job. We have a few of the Cuisinart Brands. Some have been wonderful, and some not that great…. As of now, it’s a hit. Paddles are solid, locks down easily when dropping the bread in the slots without shoving it down to make sure your items are toasted evenly. Lots of room for Texas toast and browns easily without having to hit the cycle twice. If you set it properly, it will toast it right one time.,,Not much more else to say. Great value! Good Luck!

Great product

I've been using this Cuisinart 4-Slice Compact Toaster for a few weeks now, and I'm very happy with it. The extra-wide slots easily fit bagels, thick bread slices, and waffles without any issues. Toasting is even and consistent, and the shade settings let me get the exact level of crispness I like. I also appreciate that it can toast four slices at once while still having a compact footprint on the counter. The stainless steel finish looks sleek and is easy to clean. The bagel and defrost functions work well, and the crumb tray makes cleanup quick and simple. Overall, this is a reliable, well-built toaster that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Great value for the price and a nice upgrade from my old toaster.

Have two, one 5 years old used often, the other at parents house new. New model is bread (pun) board button led garbage. I need to start estate sale hunting for old toasters built well I guess. No idea why Cuisinart decided to ruin their brand with the new crap bread board model (bread board on a toaster, duh, heat, duh). Like my mom’s oven with push buttons, when hot cannot use buttons or turn it off when it gets hot (oven at 425) have to unplug it. People laugh when they see my 60/70/80’s appliances in kitchen, but they still work - great. My neighbors and parents updated and now have to replace every couple years everything. I would pay more to have the old Westinghouse, GE, Motorola, etc dependable and accurate appliances back. Oh gads, try to by a new truck, any brand, with an engine that isn’t trash or engine stalls when a wheel slips. We’re doomed as the old guard dies off.

This is an "exact" replacement for the unit I bought ~15+yrs ago (that one had black-chrome accents, this one is the SS model). One side of the old one finally died and I didn't feel like tearing it apart and repairing it, although I may now investigate that given my experience with the new, replacement unit. After all of that time and use, which was not light at all, 'nearly daily use in those years, the knobs on the old unit feel MUCH better than the knobs on the new unit. The old unit has smooth rotation and they sit firmly in the bezels, whereas the new unit feel uneven and loose. The toasting level arms have the same issue, the old unit the springs feel smooth, and the motion is clean. On the new unit the lever arms feel very sloppy and the springs are inconsistent. The sheet metal on the old unit is smooth and consistent, the sheet metal on the new unit looks as though it was bent by hand. Ok, THAT probably is a bit of an exaggeration, but it is much rougher than the old unit. They clearly have undergone a significant cost reduction on these toasters since I last bought one. Very sad. BUT, put all of that aside, what is the primary purpose of a toaster? Toasting... It didn't toast bread evenly, 3 of the 4 sides were just ok, with one corner of the one of the sides being a bit light compared to the rest of the toast, BUT, the 4th side was pale, like really pale, barely toasted at all. Great if you wanted one side toasted, horrible if you want consistent toast. If this was a cheap toaster, you MIGHT excuse that, but this is what I would call a premium level toaster, and any one of these things is enough to send it back. Add them all up and I call BS.

Can't go wrong with a Cuisinart toaster! I like the blend of darker grey and stainless on the toaster -- looks good on the counter. Toasts evenly and quickly. The slots easily take bagels or wider slices of bread without it getting stuck in the toaster. Higher priced toasters didn't have half the features -- great value. Would have liked the toasting lever to have a "softer" feel to it when pushing it down but overall am pleased with the purchase.

Great toaster, for a large family like mine. Also works like a charm to toast regular bread on one side and a bagel on the other side.

Beware of voltage for this item sold on amazon.sg. It is 120V with US plug, and cannot be used with down-converter as wattage is 1800W, and converter would be bigger than item itself.
