I admit, in spite of good reviews, I was skeptical. I was wrong. I bought this to clean my pool steps & funky curves that the big sweeper doesn’t handle well. This works very nicely. The suction is impressive. I see references to smaller pools & spas. I’m not suggesting this can replace the big sweeper on a pool our size but I really recommend you use this instead of sweeping sentiment off the steps & odd curves so your big sweeper can grab it. The pole is good quality. Be sure & keep the vacuum body fully submerged which is easy because of its design. I compare this to the Dirt Devil house/vehicle vacuum, except that I’m using this everyday. If something changes I’ll update my review. I find your reviews quite helpful.

My dogs decided to dig in the garden next to the small I ground pool and I found all the steps and a number of feet around the bottom covered in garden soil. Since I am only renting I wanted something inexpensive to do the job and any other repeats. I charged it when it came and used it the next day. It all came together smoothly including vacuuming the steps and surrounding area. This was not designed for large areas or large leaves but it worked really well for my problem. I needed to only open it once to empty it and it cleaned the area perfectly. I think it used about half the charge. For small jobs this well engineered product deserves five stars.

Second update: I found this pool hack on TikTok where you put three skimmer socks into the vacuum net and it holds onto the dirt. It actually worked.Update: I don’t know how good it picks up the dirt at the bottom though. It does pretty good with other stuff like leaves. I love it. It’s small but seems to do a good job. Easy to charge and empty. Only complaint is the handle is thin and sometimes I don’t feel as in control while I move it around in the pool. Possibly make the handle more sturdy. I’ve only had it for about two weeks so I’ll update in a month or two if it doesn’t last or have any issues.

This is my knee jerk reaction to this purchase. After just receiving this 2 days ago, I am pleasantly surprised! This thing is small but mighty. SO quiet!! You cant even tell it's on. I charged it overnight and the next day tried it out and it performed amazingly. The suction is great. It's very lightweight and easy to use with one hand. Some complained about the thin pole but it was fine. You can always use a larger one which it easy accommodates. The only thing I wish it would improve upon is the width of the head attachments and the debris bag. The compartment it fits in has room for something larger. It's great for small pools but would not recommend for anything very large. Mine is a Bestway 14ft. round above ground. It's fine for my needs. If you stay on top of cleaning, you shouldn't have much debris but it's very easy to empty. Love it so far. Will update later if my opinion changes.

NOTE WELL: This rechargeable vacuum does NOT come with a charger! For $62.99 on Amazon, you think that it would. So if you are thinking of buying this item, be sure to remember you will have to incur more cost to buy a charger separately if you wanted it to work out of the box. Because it did not come with a charger, I cannot use it until I obtain my own charger. Hence, one star. Also, I really do not like the handle. Extremely cheap multiple very short sections that press fit together instead of screwing together. I assume this was done so it could ship in a tiny, little box. I can imagine these coming apart at some point letting the vacuum fall to the bottom of my pool. Really disappointed given the price of this item. If the seller is not going to include a necessary part, in this case a charger, it should prominently disclose that fact in its listing. Merely omitting a charger from a photo of the included parts is not exactly what I would call full disclosure or candor. When someone pays this much for a product, one would think everything needed to operate it would be included in the box.

We are new owners of a 8’ x 16’ above-ground pool and realized we needed a pool vacuum. This charged easily and like many others said, vacuumed up juniper needles, dirt, and leaves with no problem. The bag was easily cleaned out n a bucket of water and it’s easy to clean it and keep vacuuming. It worked for the pool of our size and didn’t take too long, and the handles made it long enough to reach all areas from the two ends of the pool.

I wanted this to keep the sand and dirt from getting back into the pool when I vacuum. Although it says it picks up fine sand it neglects to say it blows it back into the pool.I will say it picks up leaves and small bits of twig or small sand but it does not keep the fine particles within the filter. The holes are still to big to keep them from going through. It is not as cumbersome as our large system that must be connected to the pool’s filtration system so I will continue to use it.

Very impressed! I have an 36×18 above ground and was worried this wouldn't be able to last the whole time or just work very well. Still in pool opening season and have been able to get through the pool with charge still left. Doesn't hold a ton but very easy to empty just from the side of the pool, no getting in and out. I am very happy with this purchase so far
