I recommend using it if you are not sure of the type you need.I used their tool. And this ram is was more then enough. The 2666mhz was defiantly fast enough to keep up with most demanding games. Also it took me like 15 minutes to install the RAM is and most of it is screwing and unscrewing the laptop.
