Auxbeam 5Inch LED Offroad Lights, 270° Ultra-Wide Ditch Lights Side Shooter Driving Pods with W/A DRL+Turn Signal Light, 174W XP-Ultra Series Spot Flood Combo Cube Fog Light with Yellow/Black Cover

I love the look of these lights on my truck, and I know they'll be a big help for seeing on dark roads when I go camping this summer. I searched for a long time for the perfect light for my truck. I ordered another brand, but due to the soft metal they used, it didn't work, so I looked to Auxbeam.I already had a 4 gang slim switch panel, and was simply replacing the other lights, so I knew installation would be really easy. While I was disappointed that the package left on my doorstep would allow for porch pirates to know what is in the box, I still grabbed it off the porch before it was too late (see photo). Everything inside was packed nicely and everything was as it should be. When I ordered the Auxbeam 4 Inch V-MAX Series LED Side Shooter Pods with Black Protective Covers, it appeared in my orders as two separate pieces, and indeed the black covers came separate. I was confused as now with it as two separate items, it appeared I was getting the yellow covers as well, but unfortunately I did not (I ended up ordering them separately). The other think I wished was that the cable between the two lights was longer. I would have preferred to run the wire through the engine bay, but instead it is in a cavity under the cowl cover. The quality of the lights is great. I did not have the soft metal to worry about with installation, so everything is tight and in good shape. I feel I got my monies worth from these. These lights are bright and I can see a lot better than just using my headlights. The other thing I light about the Auxbeam 4 Inch V-MAX Series LED Side Shooter Pods with Black Protective Covers is that the DRL look great and remain visible even with the covers on. I haven't had any water resistance issues since installing them, but it does say that if water gets inside the little vents to just turn them on to let the water evaporate, which I'll do if I have a problem. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a 4" light for their hood. It is a great value for the money!

The overall build quality of these lights is excellent, and they are very bright for the size. They have a nice spot beam, and a wide flood beam that makes everything visible on sides of the road. The 4x2.5in size makes for a perfect ditch light (any taller, and they will become an annoying blind spot), and they pair great with the 4in Cube-Z pods I have in my bumper. The installation was straight forward, but I did need to extend both the wires for the switch, and the wires that join the lights together about 1ft.

Very nice led pod, ditch light kit. Came with a good harness with plenty of wire to route the cable however you need( I recommend cutting the excess and soldering-heatshrinking the harness back together instead of just coiling up the excess). The lights are bright and I appreciate the included amber lens cover. They throw light far and pretty wide too. I would have liked to see an option that included a fuse tap so I could have easily just hooked up the pod running lights up to my fuse box circuit, but it is easy enough to disconnect the wire from switch wiring and just hooking it up to a fuse tap that you can get yourself. I will note that the only thing I do not like about these lights is that the included bolts are really long and do not work with most ditch light lo pro brackets - I had to get my own hardware to mount them to the bracket so I wasn't bottoming on my cowl on my 2019 4runner. The other flaw I found is the switch.. it is so clicky and can definitely get annoying after a while. Other than those two things, this is a great option that I would consider getting again. The lights also came extremely well packaged so there is almost no chance of damage during shipping. 9/10 overall rating in my opinion.

Nice and bright, slick looking, works as intended. Only issue (removed one star for this) is the plugs for the wiring harness, they're HUGE. If your bumper has holes for running fog light wiring these connectors will not fit through them, you'll have to do like I did and cut the connectors off and reconnect the wiring after installation.

I noticed a ton of the reviews on this product are actually for something else from Auxbeam. My review is for the following: Auxbeam 5In X-PRO Series LED Offroad Lights, 270° Ultra-Wide Side Shooter Driving Pods. This is a short-term review as I have only had them installed for a day. I'll update down the road with a longer-term one. I had a cheapy 18" light bar on my front bumper and two small pods which at first, I thought was bright. That was when my Jeep XJ had halogen headlights so pretty much anything is bright compared. I then upgraded to LED headlights and when the lightbars were on my headlights were actually better. I figured it was time for new auxiliary lights. I looked at KC and Baja Designs and just can't bring myself to spending $500 to $800 for 2 lights. Are they better? Probably. Are they brighter? Probably. Am I racing the Baja 1000 in my XJ? Nope, sometimes I do pretend to :=) Do I really need a $600 set of lights getting stolen while out hiking or biking? NO. Ok, my initial impressions are the following: 1. They are bright, very bright 2. Beam pattern is well-done. I have them mounted on front bumper where they are close to the turn signals. They throw light far, the side-shooters really do a good job of getting light to the sides. This was a big improvement over my last setup. I almost don't need ditch lights. 3. Wiring Harness: Impressed actually. I wasn't going to use them at first as I already had a relay and switch setup already done. After inspecting the harness, I gave it a shot. The hardest part is drilling a hole in the firewall to get the switch into the cab. The rest is basically Millennial/Gen-Z proof. (you'll know you are one of the 2 if you are offended by that, LOL) 4. On/Off Switch: Seems a little cheap. Time will tell. It is lit up with Red (off)/ Green (on) lights. 5. Mounting hardware: Good, no complaints. Very adjustable. 6. Installation Instructions: Good. Didn't even need to get my Chinglesh phone translator out. You really don't need any instructions to install this. The only thing I can't review is the longevity. I will post something in a couple of months or sooner if I have any issues. These are excellent for the price. Installed on a JL Wrangler using the factory auxiliary switches.

They are really great lights. They come with all you need to mount them up and an ample length of wiring to fit into most vehicles. But by far is the quality of their customer service. It isabove and beyond A N Y I have ever delt with . Mounted onto custom mounts everything went great until I turned them on. They had a couple differing functions but only one worked. So I contacted the people. Usually this is where things go south but you have to try. We'll I gave them my purchase info and they got back to me the following day. They explained the time it was going to take to get the replacement wiring as its not just a simple switch and had to come from offshore. Ok 2 weeks wait. We'll that didtvwork out it was 2 months and the postal service was the culprit for most of the time. Finally the harness stopped long enough to get a handle on things is what was thought. Not So. We got the numbers traced the package to the post office but they had just shipped them again, this time back to the manufacturer. Almost 3 months had come and gone and no switch. The company although at a loss for words did something you won't hear about very often. Because so much time had elapsed and they didn't want to disappoint they sent from their US where house the complete set, lights mounting brackets and wiring. I believe it was sent on Saturday and I received it on Monday. Talk about fast ! And so much more. Not so much here at Amazon but other places on the net. Empty envelopes just to generate a delivery receipt. A pair of $4 sunglasses instead of a $200 order for sporting goods again just a generator for a delivery receipt. Amazon and this vendor help keep your faith in buying on the internet.
