This book has really cute projects to make (Not all of them are shown on the cover). The directions are easy to follow. I have made several of the animals and they have all turned out terrific!

Each pattern is very easy to follow and comes out beautifully. No frustrating parts, great illustrations. Out of all my books and patterns this is a favorite and I highly recommend it!

I love this book. I was a bit skeptable about a hard bound book. It lays open making it very easy to read the pattern, the pages all lay flat. So far, I've made one rabbit and I'm working on the second. The pattern was very easy to follow.

Love this book. Patterns are clear and concise with multiple pages of how-tos. Plus, there is lots of detailed photos. The author takes a simple pattern and shows you multiple ways to individualize it. A newbie to crochet would find this book useful as well as a more experienced crocheter. I would definitely recommend this book.

The book was as I expected. Lots of good hints for crocheting amigurumi and the patterns are great!

This is a lovely little book, full of some very cute animals to create. There is a good 'how to' section at the beginning for those new to or still learning crochet. The only thing missing is instruction on where to attach limbs (you'll need to refer to the pictures) so I would say this book is suitable for confident beginners. The author uses buttons, felt and fabrics to add interest and detail to her creations, and some facial features are embroidered, but good instruction is provided and the projects are very much achievable. I have a lot of crochet books and have made many amigurumi projects, but was attracted to this book as a friend has just had a baby and character's will make a wonderful addition to a nusery and be enjoyed for years to come. What I particularly liked abut this book is the yarn recommendations. A lot of the projects are made using various Drops yarns. I use this yarn a lot as there is a good selection of texture and colour, but it is also a good value yarn, meaning you can recreate these characters without it costing the earth or subbing for cheaper acrylics (although this is still an option). I would recommend the online store Wool Warehouse if you'd like to purchase any of of the yarns used in this book, they have prompt delivery (including international) and you get a lovely little project bag with your order. Whether you follow the patterns exactly or add your own flare with colour and detailing, I doubt you will be disappointed with the results from this little gem.
