Same splint that my surgeon dispensed to me
My orthopedic surgeon dispensed a Darco Toe Alignment Splint (in addition to a walking boot) to me during the checkup after my bunion surgery. After a while of wearing it, it no longer smelled good, so I decided that I’d see if I could buy one on Amazon so that I’d have a backup. The one that I received from this Amazon seller came in a ziplock bag (whereas the one that came from my surgeon’s office came in a box). Nonetheless, the splint inside was the same. (I’m including a pic of both in order to illustrate the different packages that this splint can come in.) Regarding washing: once I received the second toe alignment splint, I did wash the first one in a delicates bag in cold water in the washing machine and then hung it to dry. It survived that process just fine and didn’t lose any shape, elasticity, etc. I’d buy this product again, and I’m very satisfied with my buying experience.

The toe adjustment strap is under the toe, which is uncomfortable to walk in.
