Iโm happy
Very stiff when I got them but I think they will do fine once they are broken in. I love how well they grip objects. I handle a lot of pipe and other plumbing material and they do great. I doubt they will work well with small items like nuts and bolts.

Good purchase
I like the glove. A bit stuff in the fingers but does what I need it do.

Material not durable
Material doesnโt hold up. Using less than 2 months mostly for moving and stacking firewood and the materials on the fingers is ripping.

Keeps Hot Things Hot--Cold Things Cold...and YOU SAFELY HANDLING Them !
These are some impressive protective gloves.... The CESTUS "Extrication Gloves" (a designation which comes off a bit hyperbolic, until you think about it) are designed to protect your hands from heat, cold (logically, if you are insulated for one, you are covered for the other extreme) ...AND impact & abrasion. The thick protective ridges on the backs of the fingers and hand surface are excellent for safeguarding your hands. The silicone palm pads resist heat (and cold), while providing a fine-ridged for gripping enhancement. But you can get all that from the advert blurbage. I was interested in these for several purposes; Heat Protection: We burn A LOT of firewood in our fireplace throughout the Winter. On occasion; logs need to be handled....BURNING logs. I have quick-hustled HOT logs to get them back where they belong many a time--and done it with common 'work gloves' made of leather. (Not good!) Cold Protection: We have a large chest freezer wherein everything from steaks to turkeys reside as solid ice-cold lumps until we need them. Personal Confession: I have always hated handling ice-cold items with my hands! Firewood Handling : Just thinking about handling ice-cold stuff made me want to go back to firewood! Seriously; I have to handle split oak and other woods to get them into that fireplace. They have to be handled, stacked, and then picked and carried into the house--and what do you find with that wood: SPLINTERS! All of these situations were in my mind when I saw these gloves..... Thus far; they are covering each eventuality nicely. However; I have not yet handled a wayward burning log, and that is the use that has me most concerned about how well these manage that and remain unscathed. Now of course, I am not going to purposely go out of my way to grab a burning piece of firewood --but I have no doubt the situation will arise. When it does; I will update accordingly. I have reviewed a pair of CESTUS brand gloves before, and they fully lived-up to the advert blurbage.

Best pair of gloves I have ever owned
Full disclosure, I was given this item as part of Amazon's Vine program in exchange for an honest review, positive or negative. Having worked with my hands for 30 years as a sculptor, I have owned or currently own probably over 100 pair of gloves. I don't buy cheap gloves either, I buy high-quality gloves designed to take abuse. These are outstanding gloves and have every feature I could ever want in a pair. They are now my favorite pair of gloves I have ever owned and plan to buy several more pairs to keep one in my truck, studio, at work and the house. They have very grippy palms so the item you are holding doesn't slip. They protect you from high temperature, so they are good for picking up hot steel when I am grinding metal. The gloves are high visibility, so you and other workers can see where your hands are when moving heavy objects. They also have impact protection on the back, something that I was thrilled they had when, just a few days ago, a very heavy metal box lid fell on my hand. I hardly felt it. Yes, you will not be able to pick up a dime with these on or rebuild a computer. If you are wearing these gloves, it is because you are doing real rough and tumble work, not delicate surgery. Yes, there will be a breaking period with these. When you first get them, closing your hand into a fist over and over is a strength training workout if you don't have any grip strength. I would compare it to closing your hand inside a pair of welding gloves, except these fit much better. NOTE - Do not weld with these on. Yes you could, but welding gloves are designed so you can flick them off your hand if something happens. You can't with these because they are form fitting.
