A must read for little ones
Be prepared to read this book again. again and again (and again) It is a huge hit with my Grandson. He is 3 years old and this story really appeals to him, the animal sounds, and the naughtiness of the two characters trying to steal the fine prize cow. It is a delightful story for little ones who are ready to move on to proper stories and easy plots. Also, a lesson that you don't have to be big in this world to make an effect. Where would they have been without that little ladybird?

Two year old loves these books
We got a spin off board book as a gift which didn't make sense as a standalone story so we bought the paperback version and it was an instant hit. We now have four ladybird heard books and they are regularly chosen at bed time. Our son finishes the sentences and can recite parts of it so it's also really helped develop his speech. We've gifted this book at birthdays as well and know older siblings (4/5) have also enjoyed it.

Yet another lovely story by the very talented Julia Donaldson!
I am a primary school teacher and the Julia Donaldson books are always a big hit with the children. This story was no different. The children were glued to it and enjoyed looking for the ladybird on every page. It was also very funny and the children loved listening to the different animal sounds. This is a book I will be reading to children for many years to come! :)

Julia Donaldson no defrauda

Joy to read, great plot, fun at bedtime.
Amazing, rhyming story, that we all love to read. We give all the characters their own voices. We must have read it a hundred times already. A must read bedtime story.

Keep forever
My son loves this. He was 19/20 months old when we first read it and he loved it. We borrowed it from the library and then ended up buying it here. If he doesn't feel like us reading the story he plays hunt the ladybird on each page. Room on the Broom is also awesome. She's a brilliant author. We have her 10 book collection ordered.
