Bought this for my car and honestly I’m impressed. Setup was quick, the wireless Apple CarPlay connects smoothly every time, and the screen quality is really nice. The dash cam and backup camera work great too. I liked it so much that I ended up buying it twice for another vehicle. Great value for the price and definitely recommended!

I purchased this a few months ago, because I needed the carplay feature. It works perfect with no drop of signal from my phone, or interference. Once you set it and pair it to your phone with bluetooth/wifi, it connects automatically when you turn your car on. Very convenient. There are several ways you can set it up in car to make it visible without obstructing your view. I've had it in two cars with zero issue. I absolutely love this device. MOREOVER... the dashcam is incredible. It comes with a forward facing and rear camera. It automatically records when it's on. I wasn't expecting to ever need dashcam footage. But I ended up in a hit and run accident and the dashcam footage is what the police and insurance companies relied on to prove that I was not at fault. The footage CLEARLY captured the other driver running a stop sign, hitting my car, and driving away It captured the drivers face very clearly, as well a the license plate. The dash cam footage and this device literally saved me thousands of dollars, because my car was totaled from the accident. I am so grateful for this device. Works exactly as described and very low maintenance! I wish I could give more stars!

I initially had some problems with the device connected to Android auto. It would disconnect and reconnect to the phone frequently. After communicating with customer service they sent me an update for Android auto app which helped, but didn't totally solve the problem. Customer service followed up with me and sent me a new unit that is working fine. The quality of the device is excellent and the interface is very easy to set up. It works well connected to a 2012 Honda pilot with the ability to connect to car radio and steering wheel controls. I would have to say the customer service went above the norm and work with me to solve my issue. I would highly recommend the product and the seller.. Tom K

I bought this unit due to the reviews hoping it would be good enough , cannot be as bad as my Pioneer that I put in my truck costing $1200. This unit connects to my iPhone every time and plays though the media setting in my Jeep JKU. I do not know long term quality but so far it works great, happy I bought this. My Pioneer has a fan that intermittently makes a loud noise. I have not had any problem with this on this unit, maybe it has no fan. Sound quality is great, played my Sirius radio station through my Jeep head unit then switched to this unit and I cannot tell any difference other than the volume is slightly slower coming from this unit, simply turn it up and it is the same. Easy install. I do not use the cameras. I did not buy it for those.

The 9" HAUXIY Apple Carplay Screen w/ dashcam and reverse camera is a great item. I needed MAPS and Apple Music option for my 2010 Subaru and this model was an easy install. I recommend tucking the wiring underneath the flooring long the passenger side or above the window track in the ceiling. The images are clear, the display is perfect, and I was able to link the sound through the car audio system. You can also do hands free calling. The device turns on automatically when you start the car. The trickiest part was linking the device to my reverse light wiring (need to splice into the reverse light wire) so that the back-up camera comes on when I put the car in reverse. All in all a great device with all the desired features to modernize my car.

This carplay unit has been great! We got my son an older Infiniti for his first car, but it didn't have any of the modern safety or convenience features like a backup camera or CarPlay. We got him this for his 16th birthday and it installed easily and has worked great for the last 6 months. It turns on and connects quickly every time. Backup camera quality is clear and usable. even at night. The screen size is perfect. I have a 10 inch one in my car, but it is a lot more long and narrow, which is actually less usable screen space than this 9 inch one, which is taller. It gets plenty bright enough to see during the day and dims automatically at night which is great. At this price point it's hard to pass up!

When it worked, it was great. It just doesn't have a long shelf life. I bought mine in October and for the last month it has just been randomly losing bluetooth connection while I'm driving. It's not the cord or anything, as the screen itself stays on. Rather the gps, music, phone call will drop and I'll be stuck on a blue connecting screen. Kind of expensive for something that only worked well for 6 months.

I have been using this in my 2010 Scion XB and it has been very nice! The tablet sits on my dash on the suction cup mount and does not move or shake too much, but does still shake when hitting bumps. A better mount could help with that (The mount is pretty standard so there shouldn't be much problem with upgrading. TOUCHSCREEN: The Touchscreen is a good resolution and has nice clarity, but is laggy to swipe or scroll which is mildy disappointing. I could not get Screen Mirroring to connect on an iPhone 13 Pro or an iPhone 14 Pro, it will see the screen but will fail connection. I will update this review if it starts working. AUDIO: Minimal Delay! Over Aux and FM the audio was near real time. I tested with a few YouTube videos and the audio and video were in sync! The audio quality is alright. There is a definite difference in EQ and quality when running the audio through the tablet to the car through the different modes: "Speaker" (Plays through tablet and AUX cable) - Audio becomes Mid-focused and a little Tinny, loses some low end. Still not terrible. FM - Same issue as Speaker, but is to be expected from an FM transmitter. It is also less practical if you live in an area with high population density as you are likely to run into another person using a frequency close to yours and you could get interference. AUX (Just the aux cable) - This strangely has better audio quality than Speaker even though its output is still using the AUX cable. It has more low end but is still mildly tinny. BT - My car does not have BT so I was unable to test, I have a second unit that will be used in a car with BT to test and this review will be updated when that happens. Note: My personal solution to the EQ difference has been to pair my phone to the tablet for CarPlay and then use either my USB port in my car or an Aux dongle from my phone to the car. The maps and controls still work on the display, but the audio is at native quality which I enjoy. CARPLAY / MAPS: Carplay works about as well as it should, despite the laggy scrolling on the tablet screen, Maps are responsive and there is minimal delay from input to action. BACKUP/DASH CAMERA: NOTE: If you have a hatchback like me, the Reverse trigger wire that comes with the backup camera is NOT long enough to get around the hatch and to the lights cleanly. You will need a longer wire to splice to the trigger wire on the camera on one end, and the reverse light wire on the other. Not the cleanest but also the cheapest thing that could have gone wrong during this install. The Camera cable itself was long enough to me to route through my hatch door and through the ceiling, routed it behind my dash (on the drivers side since that is where the display is) and out by my instrument cluster. Its about as clean as I could make it without putting extra holes in my dash. (I routed the power cable similarly by putting the bulk of the wire up through the center column. The Backup Camera quality is great! Its not often that I can say I bought a product off of Amazon that said it was 1080p and it actually looked like it. You can get a good amount of detail even from a distance and the shape of the camera lens makes it really easy to find a sweet spot where you can see the ground right behind the vehicle and still be able to see across the street to make sure nobody is about to run into the road and behind your car. The Dash cam is where things get trickier. Since it is physically attached to the tablet, its effectiveness depends mostly on where you can put it. Thankfully in my Scion I have a pretty flat dashboard, and its able to sit in a spot where the camera has a great view. The other car I was supposed to put one of these in (a 2015 Ford Fiesta) Does not have may convenient places to put the tablet that would not render the camera useless. The Dash cam is minorly adjustable however in that it can tilt up and down. I will add pictures and video to this review as it is updated o7
