I read so many reviews on so many products, but what made me settle on this one was the people that said it made a huge difference for their dogs in such a small amount of time, almost instantly. I thought I might give it a try, and if it didn't work then I would give it away. It worked. It worked like a dang miracle. This has been the driest winter we've had in Phoenix. No rain for like four months. The humidity has been stuck at like 11% forever, and the entire landscape is one big dust ball. My poor little Aussies have suffered of it, too. I have two, one has an entirely different kind of fur than the other, and it seemed she had straw for fur. You'd pet her and it felt like the fur would crack, it was so dry. I bathed her and conditioned in high-quality cleaners and conditioners but they only made a very temporary difference. I also noticed my little dry doggie seemed itchy and would rub her fur on the ground or the sofa, and you could see the dry skin flakes on her fur more and more. I felt so bad for her! So I decided I would try this body butter out. When I say it made a difference, that's actually a bit of an understatement. This was a freaking miracle!! I started out using one pump (it smells pretty darn good but the smell is mild) and rubbed it into her skin as much as I could. I kid you not, her skin sucked everything in like a sponge. I did another pump and rubbed it in. This time the skin seemed much more receptive to keep the moisture but her fur hardly registered any change because it was so dry. In all, I did five pumps and rubbed it in. It rubs in very easily. I finally felt her fur give a satisfied sigh and keep the moisture in that last time. She was SO SOFT!!!! And glossy and smooth! She smelled yummy, too. I even put some on her head and ears. Then I brushed her to make sure it was all distributed evenly. I did this the next day but I only needed two or three pumps of product for the same result. Again, she was so soft and shiny! She hasn't once rubbed herself on the ground or sofa or anything. No skin flakes visible anywhere on her, and when you pet her, she has the softest fur, which makes you want to pet her even more (something she LOVES). My other Aussie has a very different kind of coat, and it's already very soft, but I could tell she was still dry so I gave her like two pumps of product and rubbed it in. She looks like she just came from the groomer, she's so shiny and soft! They both do. And an added benefit was that my hands felt really nice. No weird residue or greasy feel. So yes, I will keep buying this little miracle worker for as long as I have pets. Instant difference. Instant happy dogs.

This is a perfect leave-in conditioner for dogs!! I’ve tried dozens of products to help my dog (Rhodesian Ridgeback ) to have moisturized skin and soft hair while tackling her itchies. This is the best product I have ever found for her. 1. Leaves her hair and skin soft for days after bath. It is effective if I just reapply it in between baths. 2. Not greasy, doesn’t leave a film on her. 3. Lightly scented and fresh smelling 4. A little goes a long way, this container will last! Amazing value ! 5. Her skin was soothed enough for her hair to grow back in the bare patches where she had been nibbling. 5. Even my hands are soft after using it. Excellent product! I will never go without it now!

The lotion itself seems to work very nice on my pup to help with itchy winter skin. My pup doesn't have any redness or condition specifically, but just seems itchy with the winter. The lotion helps and it even feels good on my hands after I have applied it to him. I had a hard time finding a lotion vs spray for itching for my pup so I was happy to find this product and all the good reviews. My only issue is the Unscented is not no scent. There is a smell. I am not overly offended by the smell, but I don't like it and would not buy it again. I am now wishing I would picked one of the offered smell so it would smell better.

I never write reviews however I feel in this case... I must. I have a grumble of pugs. One is an elderly rescue who lost one of her coats (pugs have two coats) her hair is thin, and greasy. Her skin is dry, flaky and itchy. I decided to give this product a try. From the first application.. the results have been amazing. You don't need to use much just one or two pumps. Within a few mins it was dry and her hair was soft and silky. The next morning her scratching went down maybe 80 percent. After two days the softness was still there but I still applied more even though it wasn't necessary. But after a few days she no longer scratches at all and her second coat is starting to grow back. I'm now going to invest in the other products in this line. I will recommend this to every one who has a dog. Oh and the scent. It is a delicious scent. It's not over powering. It's light, refreshing and very subtle.

I'll be honest, I only just got the lotion and had the experience with my boy today - I'll update if there's a change! Back story - my poor boy Floyd has been through a lot. He was neglected, kept in a kennel like a toy waiting to be taken out whenever a child fancied. Rescuing him has been tough, but he has the most rewarding, loving demeanor. He is fun, chill, and sweet. Winter comes around and my boy turns into another dog - constantly whining, begging for attention, searching for distractions from his itchy skin. The first winter we had him he actually lost the fur on both of his ear tips for part of the winter! When I got his Embark genetic test done and taken into the vet's office, they took one glance and said, "Welp, he's going to have lots of skin issues." It's been ruthless - constant itching, crying, pounding into the floor.... and we're not even in the depth of winter! When I received this leave in conditioner, I was initially annoyed by how tough a time I was having unwrapping it. I called Floyd to me, got a huge glob of it, and immediately realized how nice it smelled. I then started rubbing it into his fur/sides. This dog /hates/ getting wet and was about to pull away, when he went into a trance-like state and melted into me. I gave him a complete rub-down. I could tell that he was enjoying the smell and the sensation. I half expected him to try to lick the conditioner off of himself, but he only really tried once. The relief I felt pour into his body as I rubbed it onto him almost made me want to cry. When I was done, he immediately engaged his sister (Riley, my Springer Spaniel) in excitement. He did that wild run where they kind of scrunch into half of the size of their bodies? And then he started rolling around on the deck. I could tell the sensation was odd to him, but it wasn't unpleasant. His body language seemed full of curiosity and joy, and it was almost like he was rolling into the scent. Also, again, he hates feeling wet. The product does dry /very/ quickly, though! When we went inside he rubbed against the couch like a mad-man. I started to worry that he was having an allergic reaction, but when I left the room he was perfectly alright at my side. I took a closer look at his skin and I saw no inflammation. I imagine it was the feeling of being wet and/or a tingling, hydrating feeling that Floyd was experiencing. This subsided a few minutes later, and he went to relax on the couch next to my dad. He seemed so much more like his old self, his eyes were relaxed. It's been a couple of hours now and I have only heard Floyd's scratching once, and it was very short lived. The last picture is of him in the most contented sleep I've seen him in in weeks. No woofing, crying, running, or waking to gnaw himself. Again, I'll update if anything seems to change, but this product worked even better than I thought it would. After one use. If you're worried about sensitivity, I'd go unscented, but I did not regret the guava smell and honestly believe that he enjoys it as well. I'll be buying the massive jug if this continues to work out. Thank you so, SO much for creating/distributing this product!

I’m so thankful I bought this! Moved from the mountains of Arizona down to the Phoenix area (the dessert) and all the new pollens were causing my poor girl to itch like crazy. We would go outside for a walk, and within 20 feet of the door she would have to scratch. Another 20 feet, stop and scratch the other side. Once we made it to the park she would roll in the grass looking for relief. She was miserable. I tried 2 different shampoos and those only gave her relief for about half a day. I even tried changing her diet a bit, but that did nothing. She was miserable and I was heartbroken for her. I bought this out of desperation, hoping all the great reviews were true. When it arrived I did a little test area to make sure she wasn’t allergic (as recommended). I could see the look on her face that it was instantly helping as I rubbed it in. An hour later, I couldn’t help but do her entire coat. Honestly, I could feel her entire body relax as I worked it in from her head to tail. She’s an 80 pound dog, so it took about 5 handfuls this first time. I let it dry for about 10 minutes, then we walked outside. NO SCRATCHING OR ROLLING IN THE GRASS ON AN HOUR WALK!!! AMAZING!!! The second day I applied another head to tail layer. This time it only took about 3 handfuls. Same result… no scratching or rolling in the grass. Her skin is obviously not itchy any longer! Amazing!!! This stuff is magic! Great job moisturizing her skin and her coat feels so much softer and healthier than before. I’ve applied it 3 times so far, and I’ve barely made a dent in the amount left in the bottle. I expect this bottle will last 20-30 applications, so well worth the price. If your dog is itchy, BUY THIS!!! I can’t stop talking about it to every dog owner I see. It really is that great!!!

The lotion seems to be helping our dogs skin, but the pump itself does not spring back so with each pump we have to pull it back up to pump product out. This is why I'm only giving it 3 stars

The stuff is awesome. I have two golden doodles with longer hair and their hair is often frizzy. When I put this on them, it decreases the frizziness and makes their fur super soft. Also, I noticed that they do not scratch as much after I have used this on their coats. They are way easier to brush and have less tangles when I use this. It smells really good too!

I purchased this for my golden retriever puppy last year who was suffering from a little dryness and dandruff when I first brought her home. This product helped her greatly and it stopped her itching and flaking so much, until her natural oils started to produce. It also smells amazing and the cream is nice and thick so it doesn’t drip during application.

Bought as recommended from our dog Groomer. Our Pomeranians hair is so much softer and more conditioned with this product

Absolutely love this butter for my coton de tulear dog. Makes his hair extremely soft, shiny & tangled free. Very mild smell kinda citrusy.

J'ai acheté ce revitalisant à odeur Acaï. Je ne connaissais pas le produit. J'étais habituée à une autre marque mais franchement je ne regrette pas du tout ! N'est pas trop gras, j'adore la texture et l'onctuosité. Que dire de l'odeur hummmm pas trop envahissant mais ça sent bon et ça reste longtemps sur le pelage du chien. Parfait pour mon caniche ayant une maladie de peau. Pour l'adénite sébacée je recommande pour garder la peau du toutou hydratée. Prochaine fois j'essaie l'autre odeur mais suis à 100% contente de celle-ci.
