A little pricey but worth every penny, especially for large installs like SafeRacks.
These are a little pricey, but I think they're worth it because now I don't need to drill a pilot hole like you do for lag bolts, and I haven't broken any of these.I bought these to use in place of lag bolts for SafeRacks because even the "high quality" lag bolts they include can break. The lag bolts I got at the hardware store were even worse. These bolts solve those problems by giving me tons of peace of mind knowing I won't find broken bolts later. And as I already said, not having to drill pilot holes is awesome.

Good quality for my application
Every one was usable. No breakage, though I would not expect the materials (5/8" Trex boards over cedar, with pilot holes) to pose much risk.
