As a teenager in the 80's where plucking our eyebrows pencil thin was the fashion well into the 90's my eyebrows never recovered.. I was looking for a pencil that really would be waterproof for a holiday in Greece where I'd spend a lot of time in and out of the water, This pencil definitely did the trick and was a perfect match for my natural eyebrows colour (dark brown) it stayed put all day and never wiped off when drying my face on a towel but came off easily without too much rubbing when washing my face with my usual face cleanser. Easy to use and no annoying sharpening that usually snaps the tip of any liners off. Highly recommended. *Update of review* 8mths later and I'm still buying the brow pencil! As others have mentioned it doesn't last that long but for the quality it's 2nd to none! and let's face it it's pretty reasonably priced so isn't breaking my bank to replace it or even stock up on it, buy 2 and it lasts as long as your average pencil but as I said it's quality and staying power is what has me coming back, something only the really stupidly expensive makes actually deliver, so I'm happy to buy 2 of these pencils at a time for the fraction of the cost of the "Designer brand" makeup.

This is a good product, it does have a crayon kind of feel to it though so it can go on quite heavy on the brows. I use it on my waterline too and that works well! The brush is great also and blends nicely.

I was a teenager in the 90s when pencil thin eyebrows were in fashion. Consequently, I've spent the last 20 years filling them in. I have never before managed to find a brown eyebrow pencil with a cool enough tone to look natural. This stuff is honestly amazing. There's not a hint of red in the deep brown shade. It blends so realistically with my natural eyebrows and stays put all day. I've just done a bulk order to make sure I don't run out

The pencil bit is very thin so press lightly or it snaps. The brush is ok. It needs brushing in well and go lightly as can look harsh if applied wrong. It's ok , it does the job but I won't buy it again as I have used better and easier to blend ones. I used dark brown and it is is dark , suit black hair and very dark hair .I ha e bleached hair but my eyebrows are dark - not sure it's a good look ha 😀

creamy and nice colour but I would say that the top of it is too thick which canoot allow me to draw hair strands . i had to blend it in with the other side and use a pen to create that natural effect but otherwise good quality

De e.l.f. Instant Lift Waterproof Brow Pencil is prima! Hij brengt soepel aan en geeft goed kleur af. Ik heb donkerbruin, deze kleur is best donker maar kan toch bij mijn lichte haar. Mijn wenkbrauwen tonen gelift. De punt is niet te hard en met het borsteltje kun je na het aanbrengen je wenkbrauwen in shape borstelen. En het blijft prima zitten!

Superb. Natural shade and look for my complexion - medium NW 25. Takes hardly 2 mins to touch up reasonably thick brows and groom them. Grooming brush on the other end and a twist up mechanism ensures no product is wasted and you dont need an additional brush. If you have dry skin, moisturise before applying the product so that it can go on smooth. If not, some times the product can feel dry and scratchy. You can also rub it on your palm or hand to warm it up and then use. Product doesn't budge despite sweat. However, if you are applying an oil based sunscreen mid-day, take care to avoid accidentally applying on the eye brows. It can dislodge the eye brow pencil color. The product comes off clean with an oil based cleanser/ make up remover.

I've been using this brow pencil for a while now, and I'm honestly surprised by how good it is, especially considering the price. It applies smoothly and evenly. The formula is soft enough that you don't need to press hard or make multiple strokes to get color on your brows. It stays on well throughout the day without smudging or fading. No irritation at all, even on sensitive skin. The spoolie on the other end is useful for blending and shaping. Overall, a solid product that does exactly what it should. Really happy with this purchase.
