BEST THING EVER
Had a gas leak 3 days ago, it was really bad. Never in my life can I ever feel anxiety like that again!I’ve tested this out by holding 2 lighters next to it letting gas go towards the meter first it starts giving you readings showing there’s gas in the house, then it starts alarming really loud. Really good peace of mind and I’m not longer worrying!!I did a test alarm on the video but it’s much louder than that when it detects gas.I needed to see a review like this before I brought it but there wasn’t one!!BETTER TO BE SAFE THEN SORRY!!!! 🫶🏽

Monitor seems fine, but power cable too short!
Seems a well made product although time will tell. Easy to install, but as others have said power cable is short. Would make sense to offer a longer cable or extension to the supplied cable.

Small price to pay for peace of mind
Have had a couple of false alarms when cooking using meat, wine and vinegars however I have no issue with that as it has correctly alerted me when I’ve done a few tests.A secondary mobile probe working in conjunction as confirmation has sorted out my paranoia after having a major gas leak earlier this year.Top marks for peace of mind.

Doesn't work
The device was plugged in in the gas meter cupboard and didn't detect the gas leak! I want my money back

Decent!
Does what it says! Works well, tested it over cooker. Alarm sound is decent but not the loudest. You wouldn’t hear it properly from the next room only if you go into the kitchen.

Good value gas detector
Nicely packaged gas detector at a good price. Nly problem is that the power cable is too short - needs to be 2m minimm

Short cable couldn't install it, retuned it.
The user guide is saying strictly to place the device about 15cm close to the sealing. While most of the plugs in the uk is places low, placing rhe device with a short cable requires a different skill. Hence, i was not able to place the sensor close to the sealing due to short cable. Because of this o was not be able to use and make comment about the sensor its self. I had to return.
