Good quality pen, free flowing ink and non-scratchy nibs. Best of all though, hard to beat at this price!
This review applies to the UM-151S red gel-grip rollerballs, as there seems to be a mush-mash of options covered by the same review process. The gel grip gives more purchases than a cheap shiny plastic body, I like the feel of these pens in my hand as they are well balanced. The cap has a *very* firm click as it locks into place, so is unlikely to fall off or get lost in a bag or whatever. The pigment gel ink and stainless steel tip combination works well to produce a consistent and non-scratchy flow when writing. I usually prefer a finer nib/tip/ball to be honest, but as you can see from my attached photo the 0.7mm one of these pens isn't exactly thick or clumsy. I couldn't find any 0.5mm tip red pens that matched these for value, so here we are. Great value, and this box of 12 will almost certainly see me through until this time next year I reckon. Shame I can't find a red Parker 'quink' rollerball refill though, as I'd rather keep a single pen and just refill rather than buy disposables - but hey ho...

Lovely replacement for a fountain pen
Alway use a brand of fountain pens. The ink I've used is no longer available, and the pens don't work right without that. Therefore borrowed one of these and they were so good "I bought the company" ! They are very nice. The get used up quickly but they are nice and reliable, and write smoothly. Barrel a little thin but they are very good.

Really nice
Exactly what it says on the tin. Lovely smooth writing, dark black ink, dries fast (but will smudge very lightly if you wipe it too quickly). I tested this with a Moleskine notebook to see how much the ink shows through compared to a Legami erasable pen. It doesn’t bother me that much but is noticeable and may bother some folk but that’s just a drawback of using gel ink in a Moleskine.

My favorite
Great pen that isn’t too small or too big. Writes cleanly without blotches.

Smooth writing, bright colour
I love these pens; they are perfect. Second box I have bought in 2 years. They last a while; each pen lasts me about a month or 2 (I use it in rotation with purple pens for marking students' work).
