OOONO Co-Driver NO2 - next gen. traffic safety alarm - warns of speed cameras and road hazards - rechargeable - LED indicator - CarPlay & Android Auto compatible

I’ve been using the OOONO Co-Driver NO2 for a few days and honestly it’s one of those gadgets you don’t realise you need until you have it. Setup was really straightforward — connected it to the app once and now it just works automatically every time I get in the car, which is a big plus. No messing around with starting apps or checking my phone while driving. The alerts are clear with both sound and lights, so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road. The speed camera warnings have been very reliable so far, especially for fixed cameras. It gives you plenty of notice to check your speed without being too distracting. I also like that it warns about road hazards reported by other drivers, which adds an extra layer of awareness. The whole system is based on a community of drivers sharing updates in real time, which is a great idea and generally works well. Battery charging via USB-C is much more convenient than older devices and is holding its charge well so far. Another big bonus is that there’s no subscription — just a one-time purchase and you’re good to go. Only small downside is that hazard alerts can be a bit hit and miss depending on how many people are using it in your area, but for speed camera alerts it’s been spot on for me. Overall, really happy with this purchase. Makes driving feel a bit more relaxed and definitely worth it if you do a lot of miles.

Great product. So easy to set up and use, very good value for money. Integration with Apple CarPlay works very well and the audible warning is much clearer than the inbuilt Sat Nav or using another Third Party App like Waze. Would highly recommend

Neat little item and was able to locate easily in the car for use . Picks up speed cameras easily but does not state if cameras are average speed or mobile so this could be improved . Also road hazards not always identified and you don’t know if it’s a road closed with a diversion or if it’s roadworks or police incident as this doesn’t show on the graphics . It’s a nice unit and so far I like it but I don’t think it’s great value for money and I actually prefer Waze which is free as the graphics are better . I will use in addition to rather than to replace anything . I had Amazon vouchers to use so I didn’t pay full price. It’s good if you have nothing else already but I don’t think it’s value for money

Excellent bit of kit. Very easy to use, with no subscriptions to worry about. Only audio warnings for hiding places for revenue collectors and cameras. It’s amazing how accurate it is, and gives you plenty of time to check for speed creep. Pays for itself in less than a week.

I wanted the new OOONO CO-DRIVER NO2 after getting one too many "reminders" through the post. If you are tired of fiddling with your phone or waiting for Waze to load up just to drive down the road, this is exactly what you need. The best thing about this version is the CarPlay and Android Auto integration. It actually pops up on the big screen in the car now which is brilliant. You get the alerts right there in front of you as well as the audible sound from the Ooono. Setup was simple. You just download the app, pair it up once and that is it, then it connects automatically as soon as you start the car and drive away. The rechargeable battery is a massive plus and you just plug it into the USB-C port in the car and it's sorted for weeks. One thing to watch out for is that it can go off a bit if you live in a busy area with cameras on every corner, but you can search the settings and tweak the alerts so it only makes a noise when you really need it to. It is a bit of an investment up front but when you think about the cost of a single fine and the points on your licence, it pays for itself quickly and there’s no subscription. It is a solid, well built bit of kit that just works.

Updated : dropped number of starts, likely to return item because in my area (Worcestershire) I’ve found that the default road speed is marked at 60 or 70. Support AI says “ At the moment, there isn't a way in the app to manually correct or edit the speed limit data for a road. Speed limit warnings are a beta feature, and if you spot a mismatch, the right next step is to report it” (using a support form online for each one) This means that in normal town roads the over speed warning simply doesn’t work. Overspeed warnings were my main reason for purchase. Cameras are warned about whether over speed or not, can’t see how to change the “world is ending” loud notification each and every time passing a camera, which annoys partner. Original review: Not having a screen is a bit of a minus - it is quite beepy and I am old and forgot the instruction. CarPlay - open app all good. Rather disappointed that on local roads it thinks the speed limit is 60 - clearly it’s 30 so that’s not a good start. The machine does start by itself once I move the car which is good. I don’t know how I know when the battery is flat other than that the cacophony of beep stops I like that I can set the amount above the speed limit before I get beeps that is useful I tried to report roadworks but accidentally said there was a speed camera, so that wasn’t great. I can’t see how to undo something I’ve added or to report that speed limit are wrong or missing. It does seem a useful sidekick to be honest. Though Apple Maps tries its best for speed cameras it would be better if there were more mounts included as I’m very sure and we lose the tiny ones that come with it, there’s only one set but not end of world can just use some Velcro on the main unit.

Funciona muy bien. Avisa de todos los radares puestos en puntos fijos por la DGT y los puestos en las ciudades que dependen de las corporaciones locales. También me ha avisado de peligros en la carretera, pero este aviso lo hace por indicación de otros usuarios de OOONO. Llevo muy poco tiempo con él, pero las sesiones son buenas, otra cosa que me gusta es que te despreocupas de conectarlo, se conecta cuando inicias la marcha y se desconecta cuando estacionas el vehículo. Creo que es una buena opción y cuanto más usuarios seamos mejor servicio prestará al poder efectuar avisos de radares móviles e incidentes en la carretera. El sonido si tienes carplay o android auto, se integra en los altavoces del coche, el que se escucha fenomenal, atenuado el sonido de la música.

Excellent signale bien les radars, il manque juste les radars de chantier, les radars tronçon et les embouteillages. Dans les mises à jour ils ont déjà rajouté les radars de feu, donc je suis la suite devrait logiquement. -autrement ça fonctionne bien.

Handig in gebruik en duidelijk zichtbare en hoorbare signalen.

Il Co‑Driver 2 è diventato un compagno di viaggio indispensabile. Gli avvisi sono chiari, puntuali e non invadenti. Mi piace molto che non richieda abbonamenti e che funzioni subito appena salgo in auto. La ricarica USB‑C è comoda e la batteria dura parecchio. Ottimo prodotto per chi vuole guidare più tranquillo e senza sorprese.
