I've bought so many mascaras over the years - both 'drug store' and designer brands - but this mascara is honestly the best I've ever tried. I cannot believe how inexpensive it is for the quality! Although the design of the packaging/the container is fairly cheap looking and mediocre, the design of the brush and the actual mascara is first-rate. The brush is long and thin. Every single lash is separated and coated, allowing both (extreme) lengthening and gentle curling. It doesn't clump and it looks very natural. Then there is the fact it's a tubing mascara, so it doesn't run or smudge - I'm not sure why, but the moment I turned 40 my mascara started to run and smudge, but this stays put and is easy to remove with a cleansing cloth and water. Finally, and most importantly to me, elf products are all vegan - so completely cruelty-free (and that includes not using ingredients from, or trading with, countries that mandate animal testing). Many beauty brands may be cruelty-free in your own country, but engage in cruel animal testing practices in other countries (such as China), so going for a product labelled as 'vegan' is the only way to be sure. You can rest easy with elf products that you will not be funding animal cruelty. This is the holy grail of mascaras - buy it, you won't regret it.

I was looking for a dupe of the Hourglass mascara & this was the most recommend. I was skeptical as there is a huge price different between them, so I wasn’t expecting much, however this tubing mascara is amazing! The length it gives, you can build it up with a couple of coats, no smudging either, fully converted!

i am pleased with this product - it lifts and defines my lashes well and its easy to removehowever, i dont like the texture as it feels a bit heavy and my lashes feel drier than usual but i blame this on the fact that its a tubing mascara and maybe its the way i apply italso, i bought deep brown but it wasn't as brown as i hopedanyway, i'd say it gives the same length as l'oreal telescopic and defines every lash better

I have tried lots (and lots!) of mascaras and am always disappointed as they don't live up to the hype. However, this one actually does what it says. Goes on nicely ( I use 2 coats) but more importantly it doesn't smudge and no panda eyes. More expensive than I'd usually spend but in this case its definitely worth it.

Absolutely lovely mascara. It is not clumpy or goopy - it goes on smoothly and doesn't smudge - fantastic!I usually end up rubbing my eyes when I wear mascara, as it agitates my eyes, but this didn't agitate my eyes at all - I didn't even rub my eyes once! Miraculous!I didn't build up the mascara for a lash extension look, I just applied once for a more natural look.I would highly recommend trying this.

Goes on nice however, does flake off.

Great mascara ... really good ... lengthens and gives volume too .. tried lots and lots of differences ones over the years and always seem to go back to this one !! Great price too which is good as i always seem to have to buy two 1 for me and 1 for my daughter as she will steal mine otherwise !!

Beste Mascara die ich bis jetzt hatte .Hält super und lässt sich mit einem Wattestäbchen und warmen Wasser super entfernen .

Love this as an everyday mascara! It provides a nice length and fullness. It comes off so easily which I love. Definitely wouldn’t wear it to do anything active as it would likely come off with sweat, but it’s perfect for me to wear to work!

This has quickly become one of my favorite mascaras—I’ll definitely be repurchasing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great lashes at a budget-friendly price! 💖
